The Trump admin gutted DHS's civil rights and oversight offices. Now, after an ICE officer shot Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis, the offices that would investigate policies and training are "effectively dormant."
They just make up bullshit, bad-faith legal theories, do what they want until a court stops them, then lather, rinse, and repeat.
In the meantime, they get to terrorize people. And nothing will happen to any of those responsible.
Our courts are not equipped to deal with this.
This person who successfully committed suicide (something which jails are supposed to protect against) was being held at a random Georgia jail through a contract with the U.S. Marshal Service, which let ICE use its network of contracts with local jails. This is not a big detention center.

Tijuana River is flowing again - this time due to a potable water pipeline rupture in Tijuana that's knocked-out water for hundreds of neighborhoods there.
But this also means that there's probably sewage headed towards San Diego's South Bay beaches.
