Jag har läst diskussioner man hade inom nykterhetsrörelsen för 50 år sedan om minskande engagemang. Då pekade man bland annat på att tidigare generationer av framförallt män kunde lägga stor del av sin tid på ideellt engagemang eftersom det fanns en kvinna som tog hela markarbetet hemma.

Frågan är ifall dom får folk som inte hade röstat på dom annars att rösta på dom. Jag tror inte att dom får det i så stor utsträckning, eftersom att det ändå är bättre att rösta högerut ifall man har det som hjärtefråga. Samtidigt avmobiliserar dom det egna basen och framstår som ängsliga
