Anyway, the real art fun of the weekend is tomorrow with all the painting I hope to do :D

Did the liquid green stuff where I wanted and painted 5 layers of glow in the dark on Shiranui’s tendrils. Despite it all the GitD still look patchy and dotty in the dark, really think those pigments have gone bad or something… At least the paint is pure white in daylight so I’ll leave it as it is😅

Okay now that Shiranui is primed white I can really see the print better, same with the rock base, instead of the translucent greenish resin I printed it with. And I’m now finally feeling better about this figure! Won’t be my best but will be good enough to conclude this project series 😁

I think because of the type of mix breeds he is and what he looks like, it's important for us to have a camera as back up evidence if anyone were to be nasty :') I think everyone shoud have one for their dog :D

Insane, it's 'only' 4.49pm and I managed to do everything on this list!

The primer is now drying, will have to do some liquid green stuff on a couple of tiny areas on Shiranui's body and Hope's leg later tonight. Then tomorrow can be paint day!

I am absolutely in awe with how well they replicated the cards into figures, even the shading style. Whoever the artist/s is/are they did a fantastic job!

And the shading on Machoke, I promised myself one day I’ll take the time to paint an Amaterasu figure in that cell shading style. Fascinating

Sunday:
- Finish fully Lavi (photos and videos on Tuesday if all goes to plan)
- Paint one or two colours on Hope
- Paint several layers of white on Shiranui
- Paint main colours of Shiranui’s base + wash colours
- My partner is to deal with Solar Flare’ flames if he can figure out something🤞

Will be out for a good chunk of the day tomorrow but hopefully I can, artwise, do:
- drill hole in Hope for the charm strap
- prime all parts of Shiranui
- prime Hope
- base colours and purple wash on Lavi where the Milliput shows

- Also sanded all parts of Shiranui
- Stripped of the ink as much as possible on Solar Flare, my partner will kindly try and paint the flames with translucency this weekend, see how it goes
- Did a quick bit of primer on Shiranui’s tendrils, the fixes I did don’t look too bad, it’ll be ok I think

- Milliput on the gap for Lavi done and now drying
- Milliput on Hope for an order done but it’s not great so I’ll send them mine and will keep this wonky one for myself, won’t send it until the wonky one is painted so I have a ref under the eyes while painting
- Milliput on Shiranui’s base done

I reached a point with this model where I’m just wondering disaster will happen next. My partner offered to help but even with his skills (he’s good at miniature painting I love his stuff <3) but not sure how much can be done anymore

The fight against my Shiranui figure continues: the Milliput for the broken tendrils didn’t want to stick to them so I had to improvise with a crappy resin and trimmed toothpicks, it looks bumpy but at this point I don’t care anymore. Solar Flare’s translucent colours also failed miserably

I also broke another bit of tendrils when trying to sand some parts lol. It’s fine… it will be a weekend full of Milliputing all my current models 😩😂

Lol my Shiranui figufe decided to be even more trouble. On screen all paws align perfectly with the base. The base is now printed and guess what? One paw is almost a full centimetre too high. Like… what the hell?? How is it even possible? 1cm is a huge difference!
Will have to sculpt over the base

The fins won’t glow in the dark in the end but I’m still so proud of her 💙

Despite the price increase (again) for shipping to the US, I've kept my prices, including shipping, the same.
However, early April is the begining of the new tax year in my country and with that all our fees and expenses increase. Prices will unfortunately have to go up too in a month or so...
