It appears a few Rubus have been classed βDewberryβ Ursinus , Trivialis , invisus and villosus and varieties like Bartel , Lucretia etc , the dewberry Burbank used for this cross was Aughibaugh western dewberry ( Rubus vitifolius x R.ideaus)
One on the wish list , Phenomenal berry bred by Luther Burbank , rarely available in USA , never seen it in the uk unfortunately :(

I grow mine in large pots and it grows uprights to about 4ft then bends slightly but certainly not trailing :)

RaspberryβGolden Blissβ originally found among the red raspberry autumn bliss in the early 1980s , seems to be a couple of forms both thorny and thornless, this is the thornless form and appears more orange than the thorny version which has yellow fruit
