He's an African Striped Skink. While I set food out for them in my garden, Izzard is special. He has a growth on his leg that, on occasion, leads to sticky situations.
Therefore I am hand feeding him to make helping him easier.

I suspect that were in for a cold winter. The Ranunculus is at its third flower. Theorerically it is only meant to be sprouting leaves now. Flowering time is usually August to September.

If you ever need a solution for a displaced nest, these baskets work perfectly . The fact that you can hang it out of reach of cats is an absolute added perk.

I was worried about a tree toppling with the non stop rain, but did not anticipate it to be this one.
Already checked for wild creatures, and will check again throughout the day as they cut it up.
