Reverend Jesse Jackson called on each of us to be heralds of change, to be messengers of hope; to step forward and say “Send me” wherever we have a chance to make an impact.
How fortunate we were that Jesse Jackson answered that call. What a great debt we owe to him.

Almost nobody in the media reported on the former Tory Government's sweeping power grab of the electoral commission. This week Labour have announced that they will reverse what Boris Johnson did and return the commission to independence.
Ofcourse Labour will get absolutely no credit for doing this

Honestly, it’s spectacular. We found it by accident when my 4 kids were young. We walked past the castle ruins, the wild ponies down onto the fantastic beach with it 3 cliffs (!) and a waterfall. Don’t tell everyone about it though 😉

Loved Season 1 of Keeping Faith! If you can access S4C there are great dramas on there that don’t get promoted very much. In Welsh but there are subtitles.
Lovely to come across your enthusiasm for 🏴

It is! My Dad was from that area so we visited as children. Revisited recently with our children. The town has so many great places to eat and drink plus so much history to investigate too ☺️

It is. Television programmes tend to portray Cymru as moody, depressing etc when I think it’s anything but that. For example Hinterland and Under Salt Marsh. This guys work is beautiful (he is based in South Wales). This is Three Cliffs Bay. My favourite place!

The number of commentators/journalists salivating at blaming Starmer for ruining the “special relationship” is genuinely pathetic
If anyone ruined it- if it even really exists- here’s a reminder of who did it.

End Publicly Funded Privileges For Boris Johnson Following Covid Inquiry
Boris Johnson has broken his silence with an attack on the Covid bereaved for "wrangling" on about the deaths of our loved ones.
He has no place in public life and must be stripped of all his ex-PM privileges.
If you agree, sign our petition:

I don’t think I could be any more disgusted with some of the British media
Whether you agree with your PM or not, in a situ like this, you do not become a mouthpiece for a foreign President to actively scheme against your own PM
It is the antithesis of patriotism & just plain wrong

Watching the right wing press bang the drum one minute and then complain about migrants the next minute as this new war is going to create a fresh new waves of displaced people. They’re idiots.

It’s being said a lot that the shadow of Iraq is hanging over Keir Starmer and the Labour Party during this Iran crisis.
It absolutely should. What’s remarkable is how little much of the British media and the rest of politics seem to be thinking about it at all, or learning its lessons.

Sanchez: “We are not going to be accomplices to something that is bad for the world and that is also contrary to our values and interests, simply because of the fear of reprisals from some.
We have absolute confidence in the economic, institutional and I would also say moral strength of our country

If I was @zackpolanski.bsky.social, I would be pointing out to the BBC that whatever model they use to justify giving Farage & his boot-lickers season tickets for every BBC show under the sun must surely now treat Green Party politicians in exactly the same way. Might even be one for the lawyers...

Reform are not the Opposition. They have had fewer MPs elected than the Green Party, which had five elected under their banner in this Parliament alone.
STOP. MAINSTREAMING. REFORM.
If the BBC had given them coverage proportional to their actual significance, we would barely know who Farage is.
