The constant brain fog and fatigue that I thought was perimenopause or age is gone. I have a ton of energy. I’m spending more time working out bc I have the energy to do it. Now I’m questioning my lactose intolerance but I’m not brave enough to really test it lol.

I spend days living on rice and broth while slowly adding things in. 5lbs fall off, practically overnight. I assumed it was the crash diet. I added in sourdough bread and it’s fine. My diet is basically back to normal except without bread or potatoes.

Last month I made Cajun spiced smashed potatoes, my favorite. I spent the entire evening in pain. Decided it was the spices and made bland ones. Same. Fine, elimination diet it is. I can do this, it’s how I figured out I’m lactose intolerant.

Last year I started having stomach problems. I blame covert dairy products as a long time lactose intolerant person. I start making everything from scratch.

About 4 years ago I got frozen shoulders. Then a pinched nerve in my back which limited my activity level. Immediately I put on a few pounds. I’m thin so this is no big deal, welcome even. I think it’s perimenopause.

When I turned 40, no one would warn me there might come a time when I can’t eat bread or potatoes. And that this would make me sick for nearly 2 years but present in such a way I wouldn’t be able to guess what was happening. WTF.

We need accountability before we can begin to trust our neighbors. Right now, I don't even trust my relatives to be on my side should my husband be detained and/or deported for no reason. Some of them are that brainwashed.
