I’ve been dunking this year but first time I could stay in for a long swim. Summer is well and truly on the way!

Weirdly I made this little painting a couple of years ago while healing a relationship with a narcissist. Collective unconscious?

And being forced inside this cold holiday weekend provided me with some studio time to play and putter! Finished a painting, started needle felting a wee version of my dog, and tried my hand at a Linoprint.

I tend to hiss at anything that interrupts my alone time when I’m working on a project. So that’s no fun for other people. Lol! BUT….I do believe that people getting together to work on creative projects is awesome. Remember when folks had regular stitch and bitch nights? 💜

A colourful monoprint called Le joie de vivre. It is abstract with several marks and shapes made with ink, paint, chalk and alcohol marker.

A gel print plate in its packaging. The plate is used to make monoprints but applying various inks and paints, stencils etc.

I treated myself to a gel printing plate to play with making monoprints and started arsing around with it tonight. So fun! I think this could be addictive.

I think I saw a mom saying she is heartbroken that her son can’t go to the bathroom with his friend group to pee, wash their hands and have a little chat. Gender neutral is against her morals even. So much to unpack!

I get sooo many romance scam followers on here. It is intense. Blocking at least a half dozen daily. I’m sure a few talented ones have slipped through. Listen to this please if you are a middle aged woman who loves dogs…

The damned book! Haha! I can’t pretend to understand but I also just don’t believe in any of it. But I do think Catholic mass is an experience that can be very fun, mysterious and a little scary!

I think his focus on poverty and genocide was not usual for the papacy? Also, I see a lot of folks on here saying they are lapsed Catholics. Does that generally mean still C but not practicing? Still culturally C maybe?

Can you also explain to me that the wind won’t hurt me? Bringing up Fiona trauma. Ugh
