Had a great Meet & Greet in Rockton earlier this week! The turnout was so good we had to add extra tables. Unlike the #IL16 incumbent Darin LaHood, I’m not afraid to meet with regular people and hear their concerns. In fact, it’s one of the best parts of campaigning!

Last week was incredibly busy & I enjoyed meeting folks across #IL16. I spent time in Winnebago, McHenry, Tazewell & Stephenson County, including the small town of Rock City, IL (pop. ~300)! Our campaign is building momentum and I’m meeting as many people as possible + listening to their concerns.
IL farmers are being squeezed. Costs rise, exports fall, fewer buyers and weaker prices. Even strong harvests bring losses, threatening family farms and local economies. We need leaders with the backbone to fight for fair trade and a farm bill that protects farmers.
