started making a #FallingBlockJam game but I've run out of time and energy, so please enjoy this little window into what could have been!

Own a musket for home defense, since that's what the founding fathers intended. Four ruffians break into my house. "What the devil?" As I grab my powdered wig and Kentucky rifle. Blow a golf ball sized hole through the first man, he's dead on the spot. Draw my pistol on the second man, miss him entirely because it's smoothbore and nails the neighbors dog. I have to resort to the cannon mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with grape shot, "Tally ho lads" the grape shot shreds two men in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel set off car alarms. Fix bayonet and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He Bleeds out waiting on the police to arrive since triangular bayonet wounds are impossible to stitch up. Just as the founding fathers intended.

People saying Trump is dying or possibly dead, but I for one would urge caution, because it is quite possible a second healtbar will appear as he enters his second phase and a gargantuan centipede will burst forth from his torso, so be careful of his new sweep attacks and toxic buildup from bites.

1461 days that I’ve been homeless, that’s four years if you’re wondering. Multiple shelters, days of uncertainty, little glimmers of hope, suddenly taken away. When you say you’re disabled, homeless, many people automatically have stereotypes, myths, biases, about you. Doesn’t matter if you were taking care of your father with Alzheimer’s, developed caregiver burnout, eventually depression. Doesn’t matter that as you were finally recovering that the pandemic hit. You got Covid in the first wave, became disabled, had to learn to walk again, drop in income, meant you lost your housing. People will think and suggest that you didn’t access some miracle program or resource that could help, didn’t work hard enough, didn’t try hard enough, it’s all your fault. You’re faking, a fraud, just a loser who wants a hand out or not to work. The simple reality, is that as a society we support and fund the things that we care about. We don’t care about home care. We don’t care about long term care. We don’t care about mental health. We don’t care about disability. We don’t care about affordable housing. We don’t care about social assistance. We don’t care about holding politicians accountable to their promises. Funniest thing, I’m not angry, sad or even disappointed. Because I’m one of many. Only difference is that I have online access and can tell my story. Many others suffer in silence, until they either lose hope or their minds/bodies just can’t take the strain anymore. That’s all I have left to say. Hopefully next time this year I’m still here, just housed instead of homeless. 🤞🏽
