Simpson becomes the 1st commit for IU in the ‘26 high school class.
Simpson plays LT in his HUDL video but projects inside based on his size. He needs to continue to get more agile but plays with leverage and power through the whistle.

Mendoza isn't as polished a passer as Kurtis Rourke but man can the kid make plays.
Great touch. Not a huge arm but above avg. He also brings a running element that Rourke (and his ACL) didn't really bring last year.

Depth charts really don't matter...who plays when you need a stop or score matters.

that certainly could be...or maybe they didn't like how much zone they were playing last year and are actually going to use their extra db as a true slot corner.
One interesting thing with the addition of CB Ryland Gandy is that IU is absolutely loaded now at that position.
