I personally think we were done a disservice by the folks reporting about it, who used click bait headlines and didn't give us the whole story. I hate how suspicious I've had to become about everything!! 😕
Let's not give SDCC too much credit. They outlawed it for their "Art Show" which is not the same as artist alley or the exhibit hall. It's over at a nearby hotel and is free to visit.
What a world we live in. Clowns can be kings and machines can be artists. *heavy sigh*
The more I think about this though, the more I don't understand why they wouldn't take the full step and attempt to ban it from the ENTIRE show, not just the art show. Is it just too hard to police?

I'm a week removed from #SDCC and finally fully unpacked and settled. I wish I had seen more people, but I loved meeting all the @sdccblog.com readers. It always causes a spike in my endorphins when connecting with online friends and acquaintances. 💜 I'll try to ride this high a little bit longer!
This was a hard review to write because I saw the vision, but the execution needed streamlining and I could not ignore the fact that my experience as a "press" member was soooo different from other attendees.

Tonight we played a game from Deadbolt Mystery Society & it was a very special one we were able to personalize the detective's name on, so of course we picked our sweet pug. ☺️ She has been gone for four years now, & it still hurts, but it's also nice to remember her with silly things like this!💜
