@csharp7
Proud failed actress turned HR analyst who loves cats, Astros baseball, reproductive justice, affordable housing, labor, all the human rights, tea & good sleep I might post about ACOTAR sometimes as it’s my current hyperfixation and these are dark times
The Super Bowl Halftime Show Republican Response was a distraction.
CNN: Approval for President Trump's East Wing ballroom project – from a government commission that oversees planning for federal buildings and land in the nation's capital – is delayed after it received over 32,000 comments from the public overwhelmingly opposing the construction.
A distraction is like “Taylor Swift is ACTUALLY a secret Nazi”
The government doing a horrible thing is not a distraction from the other horrible things it is also doing.
Personally I think the world as a collective should confiscate every single dollar and asset Elon Musk has and turn it into an endowment called “UNAid.”
I file this in my brain next to “we send an absurd amount of aid to Israel, who have universal health care, but we cannot afford that either.”
just thinking about how USAID was dismantled under the rationale of cost savings but there's an unlimited budget for war
The moon going from full moon to a red moon and starting to go back to a normal full moon, then my camera battery door fell off.
Here's my first edit on the March 3rd Lunar Eclipse. 15 moon shots, 1 foreground. Taken over a 3 hourish period.
some dumb shit head writing bullshit
Women are lagging behind on going bankrupt on DraftKings, drinking themselves to death, and fist-fighting anyone who looks at them funny on the subway but they can catch up.
not the most important thing going on rn by a wide margin and not something that is new information to me but nonetheless my mind keeps drifting back to the absolutely confounding idea of going on vacation to dubai
I’m sure this is fine for the domestic film industry.
Until you give it windows, it’s just Schroedinger’s Soul in there.
One of the two big things I’ve been praying the hardest for might be about to happen this week.
Sarah J. Maas is gonna be on Call Her Daddy and probably has news!
Now we just need THE OTHER THING to happen.
There’s a movement to draft Barron Trump, but I think a campaign such as this would be more effective if it impacted someone Donald Trump knew personally.
BREAKING: Today Bernie Sanders is proposing new legislation to raise $4.4 trillion in taxes from America’s billionaires — a move that would virtually cut their massive fortunes in half.
A chunk of the money raised would go toward sending a $3K stimulus check to every person earning under $150K.
Quote from Washington Times editorial board "[Radical liberals] don't realize that, when they express contempt for the man who holds the country's highest office, they reveal their contempt for the Americans who put him there."
Uh no...we definitely realize it.
I’m just salty Casting Directors are considered worthy of an Oscar when stunts and voice actors are not.
Best Ensemble makes way more sense as a category than Best Casting.
Producers, Directors, and Agents assemble the top line cast. Casting Directors are consulted, but they don’t do the big deals.
The people so eager to kill the ayatollahs don’t seem to realize that they are our ayatollahs
Wait she ran into the stage like one of the kids In the movie?!? Lmao this rocks
WELL DONE ACTORS.
I don’t often agree with my former union’s taste. But this was absolutely the right call.
This was the best *acting performance.*
okay, this *specific* part feels like a parody of the actual iraq war
He didn’t pull this shit at the Emmys or the Globes. What makes SAG-AFTRA’s awards show less formal?
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – MARCH 01: Ted Sarandos, Co-CEO, Netflix, attends the 32nd Annual Actor Awards at Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall on March 01, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. He is wearing a navy velvet double breasted tuxedo jacket, and jeans. (Photo by Amy Sussman/Getty Images)
Corporate executives aren’t fashion plates. They can’t get away with intentional dishevelment at a formal event.
This just reads as disrespect for your union talent, Ted.
Probably about $5 with inflation though.
Studio City should vote against sending this warmonger back to Congress.
I am voting for your primary opponent. When I said no more wars I meant it.
What military target was a girl’s school?
Sen. Ossoff Statement on Iran Atlanta, Ga. - U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff today released the following statement. "Eight months ago, Donald Trump lied to the country when he claimed U.S. air strikes had 'obliterated' Iran's nuclear program. "Now Trump says he's taken America to war for regime change in Iran. "Trump has launched this regime change war and put American forces at risk without presenting evidence of an imminent threat, without clear objectives, without having exhausted diplomacy, without a plan for the aftermath, and without the consent of Congress. "I oppose yet another regime change war-of-choice in the Middle East. Congress must convene immediately and pass a War Powers Resolution to assert our Constitutional authority over war and peace. "The President has presented no evidence that Iran or its nuclear program — which he falsely claimed to have 'obliterated' — pose an imminent threat to the United States, or that diplomacy was exhausted. Iran's support for terrorism and uranium enrichment have long destabilized the region. But sending American forces into harm's way should only ever be a last resort. "I pray for the safety of U.S. forces who have been ordered into battle and commend their extraordinary professionalism."
Ossoff’s statement is 1000x stronger than Schumer-Jeffries. This is a moderate Jewish Senator from a Trump state. The split isn’t moderate vs progressive, but leading vs poll-reacting
If you take advantage of the new CA opt-out for having your data sold… does it cover something like this?
