I’m trying something different where each part is worked on one at a time and brought to almost a near final state, rather than painting similarly coloured parts simultaneously. Doing it this way I can bring everything to a high level, whereas before I might stop when it looked “good enough” #gunpla

A plastic miniature of a Zaku, to simply the manufacturing process, some details are simplified and some gaps are instead filled
I removed the cable from the leg and then carved away at the extra plastic material, the segmented parts were scribed to continue the detail where previously there was none
The cable is then reattached back to the leg, the results looks marginally nicer and I don’t think anyone would truly notice. This is why I’m letting you all know about it.
Overall these minis are quite nice but that little detail reminded me of oldschool plastic Warhammer minis
Before I paint these Gundam Assemble minis, theres still some extra work to be done. Char’s Zaku has some extra material between the cables and leg. I can’t live with that so I used a saw and a scriber to cut off the cable, then remove the offending plastic and reattach it. #gundam #gunpla
