I've had cheap stamped ones from old Canadian Tire level repair kits, but nothing this nice.

My dad made me stay up and watch SCTV one night because he liked it and thought I was old enough to like it too. Probably 1980 because I was enough of a fan I bought the Bob and Doug McKenzie album with my allowance when it came out in 81.

Found this ancient post while looking up PZ to see why his blog is down, but that was my moment too. Got called an amoral "dictionary atheist" (as if there's any other kind) for basing my values around what I do believe (rational empirical materialism and humanism) instead of what I don't.

Yeah I'm not really against bike lanes, but if they won't clear them quickly I want an alternative route that doesn't have streetcar tracks instead (which hide under the snow and can catch your wheel). I should probably get a cheap rigid MTB to use as a snow bike, my old one rusted.

As long as they maintain it! Actually the section of the lakeshore trail near me is a lot better than the street routes. It usually gets plowed pretty quickly & kept clear.
