Got to admire the consistency.

Screen snapshot of a "WORDLE SIDEKICK" Angular App, which looks a lot like Wordle, but with a "Suggestions" panel showing words comprised of the matching/missed letters. Created in less than two hours with Gemini CLI and the Open Spec Framework. Did I mention it's an Angular app . . . with an "Install" icon in the address bar?
A funny thing happened while I was doing laundry...
Reading up on employer medical insurance options and HSAs π₯±
Screen snapshot showing the summary stats of a Gemini CLI session, where OpenSpec framework had been used.
And tried out OpenSpec on a different project from scratch (aka "greenfield" apparently?)
There were some initial hiccups (it kept trying to find the codebase which didn't exist yet), but things moved pretty fast once we got over that hurdle.
Dorked around with Open Spec Framework a bit this weekend, and successfully added a -stats parameter/feature to a previously existing script

Who else remembers when this was the height of technology? π
I was so impressed by this commercial.

Closeup photo of a man's left hand, with a wedding band on the third finger, intertwined with both hands of a woman. An engagement ring and wedding band are on the third finger of the woman's left hand as well.
"Ning & Andrew Mills, February 14th, 2026" inscribed in a white cursive-esque font on a black canvas.
Them: "Did you do anything special for Valentine's Day?"
Me:
The letters "L", "f" and "n" overlapped and angled in such a way as to suggest the shape of an elephant.
A picture of Sonny Jurgenson, wearing his Washington Redskins uniform.
Rest in peace, Sonny.
The #SuperBowl is February 8. Or is it the #SuperbOwl? π¦ π
A somewhat regular reminder to please #CapitalizeEachWord in a multi-word hashtag. Doing so helps screen readers identify each word and then say the hashtag correctly. Itβs one of the simplest accessibility things we can do.

Screen snapshot of India badge from FitBit app: "India. By walking the equivalent of the entire 1997-miles length of India, you've earned the Indian badge. Congrats!"
It's been an eventful weekend.
Cropped screen snapshot of Proxmox VE Login dialog box.
Took longer to get up and connected than I'd like to admit (thanks to DHCP/reserved address vs stale ip info output on console), but I've got a Proxmox learning lab on my local network now.
"Out with the old..." (which in this case happens to be a dead CMOS battery and a 4GB RAM memory module)
"And in with the new!" (which happens to be a medium shot of a Dell Inspiron 3647 interior/motherboard, with two new 8GB RAM modules and a new CMOS battery installed). Total cost ~$42 USD
Upgrading an old Dell Inspiron 3647 w\ new CMOS battery and 16GB, to keep it out of the landfill/start my "Homelab adventure" in 2026.
