The hypocrisy is astounding.
PA-10 is one of the seats that could decide control of the House in 2026. If we flip districts like this, we can put a real check on Trump and the GOP agenda.
As we continue to follow the news related to this latest military action, we’re reminded why this work matters so much. Our thoughts are with the American servicemembers and their families who too often face the consequences of these decisions, and with all those impacted by these events.
Flipping the House in 2026 isn’t abstract. It’s how we restore congressional oversight. It’s how we put a check on a dangerous abuse of executive power.
The work to win back Congress isn’t optional—it’s essential.
Here’s what we know from our work listening to voters across swing districts:
People are exhausted by leaders who act first and explain later. They don’t want more chaos. They don’t want performative brinkmanship. They want stability, honesty, & a government that considers their well-being first.
Americans are worried about the cost of living, about health care, about whether their families will be okay.
Instead of addressing that, Trump is escalating U.S. military involvement overseas—risking lives and resources we can’t afford to waste.
Donald Trump promised to end “endless wars.”
Instead, he is yet again putting American troops in harm’s way while sidelining Congress and acting without a clear plan for lasting peace, without accountability, and without being honest with the American people about why.
This is a war of choice. And it’s unfolding because of executive failure. 🧵
Feeling fed up tonight? Same.
But winning durable power takes more than outrage. It takes early voter outreach and real listening.
Ground Truth is how Democrats flip the House in 2026—and build power that lasts for years to come.

If we flip the House, Democrats control the budget. If Democrats control the budget, we can restore funding for science and innovation.
That’s the path.

Through this partnership with @geeksforamerica.bsky.social, grassroots donations go directly to Democratic nominees in the districts most likely to flip the House.
This is strategic, early investment, and it’s how we build Democratic power.
Right now, Republicans hold one of the narrowest House majorities in modern history.
A small number of competitive districts will decide whether Democrats take back control. That’s exactly where we focus.
The House writes the federal budget. Without the majority, Democrats have limited power over what gets funded–and what doesn’t. With Democrats in control, we restore a real check on Trump and MAGA Republicans and protect funding that improves people’s lives.
At Swing Left, everything we do comes back to one goal: flip the House for Democrats in the midterm elections this fall.
We’re excited to partner with @geeksforamerica.bsky.social to help make that happen. Here’s why 👇

Republicans are holding the House by a razor-thin margin. Winning it back is doable—and it’s how we put a real check on Trump.
Democrats won’t win back trust by talking louder. We’ll win by listening earlier—and talking to everyone, not just “likely Democratic voters.”
That’s what Ground Truth is building.

Alarmist headlines are the point.
Trump’s “take over voting” talk has no legal basis and no evidence behind it. Elections are run by states, and they’re secure.
They want doubt. We choose participation.
This kind of disciplined organizing is how we help Democrats win the House in November.

Taylor Rehmet’s 14 point win in a district Trump won by 17 points wasn’t due to a flashy campaign. It was a disciplined one.
That’s how we turn real Democratic momentum into big wins.
Flipping the House in 2026 starts now—by rebuilding trust, door by door, in competitive swing districts.
Ground Truth is how Swing Left is doing that.
Flipping the House isn’t symbolic.
It would put a necessary check on the Trump agenda, and is Step One in removing Republicans from federal office, full stop.
This moment makes one thing clear: Democrats need to win back power to create real accountability on efforts to sow distrust in elections.
Protecting democracy in an era of unprecedented overreach includes organizing early to win a large, decisive Democratic House majority.
The FBI just seized records from an election office in Fulton County, Georgia—an escalation of Donald Trump’s ongoing efforts to discredit the 2020 election results.
Years later, Trump is still pushing attempts to relitigate the election he lost, even after courts and audits found no fraud.
After covering a protest at a Minnesota church, Don Lemon and independent MN journalist Georgia Fort were arrested by federal authorities — even though a judge declined charges.
That’s not normal, and it’s not something we should shrug off.
NEW: Swing Left is expanding Ground Truth voter conversations in Colorado’s 8th District.
The focus: starting early, listening to voters, and flipping this GOP-held seat to Democrats in 2026.
