Why does seeing Highland Coo babies feel like a little holiday?
Because it's a wee calf.

The sad realisation after pressing play on the latest BBC Friday Night Comedy that it's not the News Quiz...
I really hope Hadjar doesn't have a repeat of last race. It's nice to see a confident driver in a Red Bull who isn't Max.
I'm happy for Russell to get a championship, but he better retire afterwards π

Just finished watching China GP qually. A relaxed Lewis Hamilton is probably the most dangerous Lewis Hamilton to compete against.
Most gutted that Bortoleto binned it, he had to be on for the top 10. Gasly putting his Alpine in front of the Red Bulls is also a heck of a thing.
There's a new rail ad on TV and they're using the British Rail logo only the one they used is low res so you can clearly see steps in it π€£

2000AD Prog 543 Star Scan, art by John Hicklenton, showing Nemesis the Warlock
I was never a fan of John Hicklenton when I was a kid, his Nemesis was so far from the Bryan Talbot I'd fallen in love with, but over the years that has very much changed and now I adore his work including his grotesque Nemesis

B-CLUB No. 72: Zeiram (1991): A detailed sci-fi fantasy illustration features a central female character with long dark hair wearing large round goggles and white futuristic armor, surrounded by an array of monstrous and alien beings including a large blue tentacled creature with a masked face, a white fox-like mask on an orange flame, a blue helmeted entity, a horned demonic skull with glowing blue eyes, a striped robed figure with a third eye symbol, and various other grotesque faces and figures.

Excited about Spielberg's upcoming Western. He claims it'll be free of tropes & stereotypes. Of course I don't want any stereotypes, but I'm not sure it's possible to make a Western without "tropes". Anyway, here's Sam Peckinpah's view on "tropes" (as told by Alfonso Arau):
I think about this a lot.
A short animation with Juno & Kyrie on the run from some goons during rush hour! Beats sitting in the traffic tho!
This is a scene from a story with them I'm developing, planning to share details of it soon!

Photographs of a dinosaur-looking bird, the shoebill, and popstar Sabrina Carpenter, overlaid with a height comparison showing both are 152 cm, with visual graphics saying the magazine's name SSWAGGER and some Chinese characters
Photographs of a shoebill and popstar Sabrina Carpenter overlaid with a height comparison showing that, yes indeed, both are just 152 cm
I can't even begin to describe this photograph. I think that might be Taylor Swift on a night out with Sabrina Carpenter. But Sabrina is photoshopped to have a shoebill face and talons, with wing-tips coming out her coat but still Sabrina's hair
Just incredible shoebill awareness-raising from this Hong Kong teens' magazine

If you see this, post a robot
The dubbed version was probably Starvengers, which is how I saw it π
I got this from HobbyLink Japan but itβs sold out, they seem to be limited runs. You might be able to get it via Mandarake or eBay at some point.
