"Rock Beat (Extended Mix)" by Loud Force. Appeared on Dancemania X4, DDR 3rd MIX, and quite a few best-of compilations. It seems that Loud Force tracks were made exclusively for Dancemania by Italian producers.

Oh, I've actually never seen X2 or X3 without the 3D jackets! I thought it was only X1 and X5 that got reprints without them. I think the sparkly text ones may be rarer. Now I wonder if X4 and X6 also got non-3D releases.
Nice, my favorite one! And you got the 3D jacket as well! They did a second print without it.
Yes! I loved Hanna, Nina and the little we got with Cecilia, but I agree that Veronica's and Malin's voices blended together the best. I can't wait to hear their new single, "Dance Dance!"
"Summer Night City (D-Bop's Saturday Night Mix" by Abbacadabra. This was the remix used on Dancemania X3, even though the booklet never listed the remix name.

Veronica and Malin are back and will perform together as Smile.dk for the first time in over 20 years to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Dancemania! They will also debut a new song at the event!
At the 2026 Winter Olympics, the Japanese ice dance team performed a routine "inspired by Dance Dance Revolution." So wild hearing Smile.dk's "Butterfly" and JS16's "Stomp to My Beat" at the Olympics.
Definitely unofficial. Probably someone trying to make money off rips that likely aren't even their own. They didn't even bother doing their own scans -_-
Close, haha. There's speculation that it stands for UK Scorccio. Not because Scorccio remixed it, but because it "borrows" the Scorccio style.
"Wonderland (UKS Extended Re-edit)" by X-Treme. Does anyone want to guess what UKS stands for?

Ha, my first exposure to it was the Watergate cover as well. You may also know it as "Forbidden Colours" from Trance Paradise 3.
Hyuji just released "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence (Speed Mix) as a free download. A real treat for Dancemania fans. It makes a great addition to your Christmas Speed playlist!

Speaking of CD Groove XXX, in 1998 EMI released a special CD in collaboration with the show. It was a nonstop mix by DJ Soma, and features many Dancemania tracks! I think it is a must-have CD for Dancemania fans. There is also an Avex edition mixed by KCP!

Some of the promotional material that came with the PRT-8405 promo vinyl. "Pain in My Heart" was used in the Dancemania X2 commercial, and was also the opening theme song for the CD Groove XXX show for a few months.
"Pain in My Heart (Single Mix)" by Carina. A slightly different mix than the album version that was used in Dancemania X2.

"Pain in My Heart (Wiseass Fluoro Mix)" by Carina. Remixed by Wiseass (Henrik Korpi and Paul Dobbs). In Japan, this remix was exclusive to this vinyl, though it was easily found on the original Swedish CD single.

"Pain in My Heart (KCP Remix)" by Carina. Unfortunately, it's not the version that appeared on Dancemania Speed 3. www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlPk...
Smile.dk promo cassette promoting their 3rd album. The tracklist is somewhat rearranged and renamed compared to the final version. But most notable is that the album was originally titled "Smile" instead of "Golden Sky." Image from Yahoo Auctions Japan.
It mostly lives on in doujin. RTTF Records produced a number of albums that mimicked the Speed style, with their most recent release being VTuber Speed 2: www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZQr...
