Free? You couldnβt pay me!
Thatβs the spirit.
Agreed. What an excellent communicator. Her dignity and anger are powerful.
I so badly wish I could force every single awful MAGA ass hat to watch this clockwork orange style. Part 1 of 3
A dumb and incoherent ideology is still an ideology
Hah! Iβm sure it sounded good in his head
When an official posts something like this, especially a top official, it would be nice if the next sentence started with something like "Here's what we're going to do about it today" or "Here's how you can get involved"
I love you guys. Never change π
This whole thing is exactly why I decided to gtfo of these sorts of groups. It all gets so dysfunctional so quickly, it gets in the way of being effective
Thatβs not quite fair - it IS arson, and it doesnβt do anything useful. Itβs ok to not want that kind of thing. Itβs difficult to keep a broad movement together if people arenβt allowed to be annoyed about their bins getting burned for no reason. Not at all like justifying a murder in any way.
Itβs always worse than you think with these dweebs. They should stop trying to have thoughts. Theyβre not good at them.
The world simply does not need a funko pop doll of will smith.
It was the Fuck Around of Times, it was the Find Out of times
People are terrible at communicating as it is. Social media is almost custom made to create more heat than light
βWe the peopleβ is the last defence. The judiciary, the executive, the legislature, the press have all embarrassed themselves. Hats off to the ordinary Americans π«‘ Americans are not fans of living under the arbitrary rule of lunatic kings.
We've had 500 million words spilled pondering the ideological and political intricacies of the chud mind. How can they hold such contradictory views, pundits wail.
They want to feel part of a team.
They want to feel strong and powerful.
They want to feel righteous in their hatreds.
That's it.
Also itβs possible to believe that there is a real tech here *and* that thereβs a bubble happening and a crash coming. Thatβs my own belief, fwiw.
There was a dot com crash after all, and the internet was, it turns out, not just a fad.
They do have good guests on the show, but the fact that they are platforming full-on quacks is exactly whatβs wrong with American media.
There arenβt always two sides to each issue, and when you want to explore the side thatβs not evidence based, you donβt have to platform it.

No water, no heating, no power, -15 degree weather outside.
It is not on the front pages of your newspapers, but Ukraine is living through a humanitarian disaster right now because of Russian bombardment and the world has barely noticed.
That some of the world's wealthiest and most powerful men were writing crime e-mails to crime man Epstein on gmail suggests two non-exclusive things:
a) Our meritocracy isn't all it's cracked up to be;
b) Our overlords operate at levels of arrogance & impunity that make consequences unimaginable.
Hamill himself is here! I didnβt know. When Twitter fell to the dark side I feared youβd not made it across
(Sorry for long thread , Iβm still ill, so will blame it on that)
Anything you would add to that? Essentially I see we get stuck in trench warfare where we understand each othersβ positions well enough. Iβm curious as to how you see productive dialogue between those groups? The dark time is here, and we need to keep each other safe, not go all Spanish Civil War
It sounds like you feel like the left are always scolded to compromise - meanwhile the Overton window is dragged audaciously rightwards. Instead of leading theyβre asked to follow. I share that frustration with meek centrists and centre lefties - the lack of imagination, of vision, the managerialism
One group wants to aim at those corrupting the system, the other aims at the corrupt system. I am very scared about what happens to us all when we canβt keep our rhetorical (and eventually literal) guns pointed towards the real enemy and start to point them at each other.
It sticks with me because this dynamic is so tragic - the splintering of those on the left. As a liberal, I feel frustrated to be lumped in with those who have consistently failed to treat the rise of fascism with the dire urgency it requires, but I think I see why it happens.
My experiences with the guys you tagged would all put them somewhere in the former camp. But Iβve not heard them shy away from harsh critiques of the dems. But I donβt really want to dig into your personal anger towards them. But you have been playing on your mind while Iβm trying to get better
