I asked ChatGPT approx. how many Americans were in all Middle Eastern countries as of 3/3/26 & it est’d. 550,000-900,000 residents, and tens of thousands up to 100,000 temporary traveling US tourists. Dept of State has ordered all to evacuate as far as I undersrand it now.
However, I did some research and it appears “one million” Americans is not a bad estimate. Or they have, at least, been ordered to evacuate the region, w/ no State Dept help, while many airports have shut down.
