There's that phrase you start hearing a lot when you start working on your mental health of "everyone has a bit of that" and not only have I found how true it is, but also it works the other way where people might find they have something in them when exposed to this sort of thing.

I can't really say this for *all* of them (which to be fair is a statement that applies to everything) but something that I appreciate about most of the media listed (both in my post and the post linked) is that the shock value has a purpose which is always nice.
