Got to be Breaking Bad.
Got to be Breaking Bad.
Abreu/Beltran similar but way more homers for Beltran. I will continue to evaluate Abreu in 27. Hamels, Buehrle had similar credentials to Pettitte but Andy's performance on the October stage for five World Series championship teams (he also played in three other World Series) was a separator IMO.
He is definitely someone I will continue to evaluate. He was very underrated..amazing he made so few All Star teams.
Pettitte association with HGH (not steroids) was two to three years before MLB formalized a testing program for PEDs. Manny failed two tests and served lengthy suspensions for steroids longer after testing was in place.
HGH (Pettitte) with alleged use two to three years before MLB even had a testing program. Testing positive for anabolic steroids and being suspended multiple times after a testing program was in place (Manny).
MLBdotocom writers gained entry into the BBWAA in 2016. You need to be in the BBWAA for 10 years before you are eligible to vote for HOF.
That is also known as the game that forced Dante Scarnecchia to unretire.
Yeah. Von Miller destroyed him all day.
The fourth and goal throw for the TD was also insane. Why the heck did he go to Edelman instead of Gronk for the two pointer?
Absolutely insane. I still can't believe they lost that game!!!
Seriously this is ridiculous. Fourth and 10 and the season on the line.
You are so right. That was a beautiful play. Brady sent the tone for the second half of the dynasty with that pass.
Amazing that of those three hail marys in the Super Bowl losses (42, 46 and 52), none of them got caught. Just because it was Tom, you figured he would have hit on one of those three miracles.
Gronk on fourth down in the fourth quarter of 2015 AFC Championship Game in Denver. Brady was getting the crap beaten out of him and he kept making big throws in the fourth quarter. If only they didn't miss the 2-pointer.
Also, Danny Ammendola, back of the end zone against Jax in AFC title game.
Appreciate all you do for this process and have for the last many years. Fun to be a part of it now .
Today was an exciting day. I mailed my Hall of Fame vote to Cooperstown. I'm a first time voter but a long time beat writer (24 years). This is an honor I'm not taking lightly.

Scott Boras on what a potential fit could look like between Pete Alonso and the Green Monster: "The numbers illustrate that Pete hits really well there. Sees the ball well. Big man in small quarters, it's nice to be the redwood tree in the forest, I guess."
Some big news for '26 and beyond.
That list feels empty without Kevin Morton.
