Some transgender people see only darkness in front and behind them.
The current climate is especially accelerating this.
Transgender people just want to love the people they love and live their lives as themselves.
Let's all join hands and change the worldπ«Άππ«Ά

Still from my upcoming film Frankenstein Created Robyn, which is set to release on March 31st 2026. The still shows me - Robyn Adams, as Frankenstein's monster under a spotlight, wearing a long ragged grey coat, and with my long red hair trailing out from behind my head like Elsa Lanchester in The Bride of Frankenstein. I am lying in the centre of the spotlight, limp, on top of some kind of wheeled gurney, with wires snaking out from under my body across the floor to the left. The room around me is dark, with the light from the spotlight being a sickly shade of green.
March 31st - Trans Day of Visibility. 10AM.
I think it might thrill you. It may... shock you.

Castration Movie 2 is hands down one of the best films Iβve seen in my life, so supporting Part 3 means being part of cinematic history. Louise is amazing and her art is astonishing

There was Werner Herzog in The Mandalorian discourse?
Slightly glad I'm half a decade behind on STAR WARS if so, can't believe people would complain about the coolest thing ever.

I'm in this one so if you send over money then we'll all finally be able to see what the hell Louise allowed me to do back when I had no clue that this would turn into a genuinely profound, human, confrontational epic of transgender filmmaking

I'm not really with it today. Momentarily thought one of the guys who co-wrote the Malleus Maleficarum had just bought The Telegraph.

I'd try it, but I know there's an almost certain chance I'd miss a chunk of the film, so don't know if I'd risk it

Alas, I'm notoriously bad with doing exact timing, so I often turn up very early for films (I also like watching the trailers) - plus my brain gets weird for no reason about not having got settled into my seat before the film, which is an odd one.

I kind of feel like I have to pay attention to the ads so they don't plant some horrible rot in my subconscious that leads me to believe that this is all standard and normal and the done thing

On the one hand, I love going to see movies. On the other hand, I don't like how they're preceded by prentious over-polished adverts which describe themselves as "short films", endless military recruitment ads, and now actual AI slop.

Glad that I have a cinema membership because if I had to pay separately every time I have to bear witness to that AI slop ad that plays before every film, I'd go off the deep end

perhaps cheesy but it is honestly so beautiful to me that, in under twenty four hours, every copy of castration movie anthology i sold out. a real showcase that people not only want trans cinema and love this film, but that they trust a distributor/producer as great as muscle/liz.
