MY TAMA, TOMI FROM MARIE!
Marie @soengery.bsky.social got me a tama for an early birthday present so we can raise our tamas together.... My baby boy is named Tomi
Three days to make this happen. Fighting every month to keep us housed. There is no fallback besides living in the car. So please consider a book purchase or a Ko-Fi thank you thank you thank you.

I’m NOT at ECCC!
If you wanted to say hi, take it up with @big-flat-cabbage.bsky.social cause I’m making glaze an he’s making the rounds! Ask him how we Plan to Win! Ask him! He’ll tell ya!
Email me through the submission form on my website and we can talk! I’m prepping for some shows this next month so I won’t be doing a non-seconds drop for a while but I’m open for cup commissions!
All of this is astute af

Hard at work on Casket Land. Big changes coming for the system - moving totally away from PtBA and to something completely new (and very art focused)
Can’t lie, I personally love when books sell at a comic book show! I’m glad your books are moving!
Omg an honor to hear coming from you
(I am personally not at ECCC this year or else I’d share MY numbers)
Yo ECCC artists! how was today compared to last year’s Thursday? Sales up? Down? How’s foot traffic? Did you move more books or more prints? Original work? Or an established IP that is not your own (fan art)?
No judgements! Just industry talk! Tell me how you did!

A picture of the CRWN booth #28002 at ECCC 2026! Come see us!!
Hi everyone!! The cryptid has emerged from his cave and will be at #ECCC this weekend at the wonderful @crwnstudios.bsky.social booth #28002! If you have the chance, please swing by!!
The cover of my new zine BLOOMKIN, displaying my OC Hollis Finch, a disgraced cartographer, walking away into a red background with milkweed flowers lining the bottom.
The inside cover and first page of my new zine BLOOMKIN. On the left is the inside with a brief description that says “BLOOMKIN is a queer, surreal horror graphic novel project in the making, and this zine is the pencils for the first 25 pages! It’s all a work in progress, so the finished product may differ, but I’ve fallen in love with this world and these nerds and couldn’t help but share a sneak peak. Hope you enjoy!”’ Page on the right is an introduction the Madalan Pillar in the first panel, a large towering broken structure underneath a giant eldritch flower in the sky. PANEL 1 NARRATOR THE MADALAN PILLAR A remnant of a past era, hollowed out to make room for the scavenging few. The apocalypse as we knew, it had already come and gone 300 years ago. (365 to be exact). PANEL 2 Another shot of the massive Eldritch flower hovering above the pillar. NARRATOR Our terrible end came to us in the form of an eldritch flower, large enough to plunge our entire sector into permanent shade.
Two other pages of the zine. LEFT PAGE PANEL 1 Hollis dodges a blow as blood sprays from a Bloomkin (monster). PANEL 2 Hollis reaches into his pocket. PANEL 3 Hollis bites down on the grenade pin PANEL 4 The grenade pin is removed. PANEL 5 Hollis narrowly dodges a strike from a Bloomkin. PANEL 6 Close up of Hollis’ hand as he throws the grenade. PANEL 7 The grenade flies into the open cavity of the Bloomkin. RIGHT PAGE PANEL 1 Hollis gtfo while the Bloomkin prepares for another attack. PANEL 2 The Bloomkin explodes, propelling Hollis forward. PANEL 3 Hollis face down in the dirt like a nerd as the smoke clears. Mission successful.
I will be selling a new zine that is a preview of my next comic after NDE (thanks to all who are patiently waiting for the finish!!)! BLOOMKIN is a surreal queer dystopian horror about a disgraced cartographer forced to go on a dangerous expedition with a bitter ex.
Re: enabling workplace abuse, read to the end for Mike’s weird fucking response that names the reporter multiple times as if he’s addressing her, specifically:

plus a lot of events are having artists pay table price BEFORE getting accepting so smtimes a little man might be out 5-7k at any time on pending applications 🤧
I'm sorry that was your experience. Not to make excuses, but the con is exhausting when you're stuck behind a table making small talk with strangers (sometimes for 30+ min) and they just...dip when they're done, it can sour your mood a bit. A lot of artists are having "bad days" behind the table.
Oh wow this made my stomach drop. What an absolute nightmare.
This just about covers the flight tickets to overseas cons.
Imagine the level of stress I had when we, after eight hours, landed in Newark on our way to PAXU and I got the text saying Brandfox (our then-fulfillment partner) couldn't get our merch to the con and that we would have an empty table.
Not to mention the days and weeks of labor you're lucky (but unlikely) to recoup in sales.
I don't think I like tabling at cons and art markets MOSTLY because of the factor of financial risk. I do like meeting people yes (apparently I am good at socializing lol)...it's just that even local events for me have been financially HARD and I wouldn't have been able to do it without a friend.🧵
Getting ready to board my flight for #ECCC2026! Find me at the @crwnstudios.bsky.social booth 28002
(you can and should blame the organizers - they're the reason table fees are so expensive, but they are providing a lot less resources to creators. We used to get trash bags...now we got...also no chairs)
Omg what a spread.

I’m at ECCC! Please come by and say hi!
Yeah. I really miss the dudes who used to run AA. People talk about a shift happening, it's really hard for me to believe the loss of those guys wasn't a part of that.
It's just a really weird look in this day and age.
