It's a pleasure to see SHARK LADY
alongside the beacon of literacy that kept so many kids (like me!) full up on amazing books all through childhood.

Reading Rainbow - thanks for sharing! Hit me up if you need an unruly lady to talk books, any day.

Why I Don’t Do Writing Retreats β€” Jess Keating And other β€œnormal” things you don’t need to do as a creative. When I was a teenager, I wrote one of my favourite authors and told her that she was a big reason I was inspired to become a writer one ...

Dusting off the ol' blogeroo today with a chat about NORMAL -- and why tossing it in the bin is (probably) the way to your true, sustainable creativity. #writers #booksky

So, this sounds flippant, but I mean this with my whole heart:

Women, sometimes the healing β€œmeditative breathwork” you need isn’t slow, calming breaths

but instead loud,
rageful
screaming.

1st book was pubbed, but have had easily 6+ trunked novels. PBs it’s more. 99% of trunked things stay that way.

Also worth noting I firmly believe some books need to be written *to get them out of your brain* & they’re not meant to be published β€” and that’s okay. It’s marbles in a tube. Makes room.

The winds have been carving some amazing formations into the snow along the highway. For size reference, these drifts are at least as tall as me.

I think Asana has a thing where a little unicorn or other magical creature jumps across the screen with a sparkle with every task you complete. I haven’t used it in ages but know some artist friends who like it specifically for the unicorn. You’d have to make β€œtasks”, but β€œquery 1” etc could work.

Not all our Keepers wear green!

Zebra foals imprint on their mothers by recognising their unique patterns of stripes. When we rescued this little foal - orphaned after a lion attack - we dusted off our Zebra coat, so that she didn’t feel alone and knew who to follow.
