I was in Mexico City last week and as I was waiting to board my plane, this American man started loudly talking to me saying he’s lived there for 12 years but the country is run so poorly and stupidly. I can’t remember the last time I distanced myself from someone that fast. Leave if you hate it.

Absolutely. And folks who are worth anything will appreciate the push as long as they know it’s coming from a place of wanting everyone to be their best.

If you manage people, you HAVE to be able to have uncomfortable conversations about performance. If you’re unwilling, you’re not only doing a disservice to the person that reports to you, but the entire team and those they interact with.

It’s uncomfortable but practice makes good (not perfect lol)
