Sorry, I can't hear this.
Sorry, I can't hear this.
FaceBook & Twitter are prime examples of this, as both started as community apps, launched & acquired several failed features & linked communities, strangled them all to hell, and now both work as a user account surveillance apps.
Edgelords only fail upwards if they're open to selling out.
The continual cycle of new tech that imposes old conformity strangles innovation & limits potential for new & great ideas, it becomes toxic & stagnant.
When reach is limited & muted based on conformity with a platform owner's rules, rather than a more democratic & scalable model, innovation dies.
This control sets in late too, after months even years of luring everyone onto a platform under the guise of being fair, equal, & inclusive...
For those of us that know old message boards, modern social apps are just a larger form of "edge lording".
I think the biggest problem I have RN with tech platforms is that they're run by individuals that impose conformity as the "gate" for success. That conformity is also based upon their limited personal perspectives, race, & upbringing, and they torture & punish nonconformity.
Predatory ppl get stuck in cycles of abusing people based on unreasonable & dark delusions...
They often feel like they missed or are missing normal human experiences as a child or adult and they turn on others, working to prey upon optimism, enthusiasm, & inexperience.
Deeply corrupt selfishness.
Long before we had the Internet, people heard a good song & made their own personal interpretation of what it meant & didn't worry about the musician's political views, what plugins they used so they could copycat, or even if they stabbed somebody, & that was such a glorious era for music.
They never taught us this back in school, but the sure signs of a devastating market crash are that all the trading apps just begin to show only white screens, and the news channels start reporting on cats that won an election to become the mayor of a small town... ๐ค
So when ppl drop their money at KFC, someone else can run up and put them in that person's booty hole?
It only takes them abt 4 months after onboarding to realize the candidate they chose used Ai & cheat sheets to answer all the interview questions, and all that "vibe coding" has led to a disastrous IRS customer data breach.
Time heals wounds. โ
I'm pretty sure that at this stage, if someone posted a video on TikTok pleading in pain for an ambulance to come pick them up, TikTok & Instagram would still stop their views at a certain point & ask them for money to let more people see it unless they're related to a cele or can show cleavage.

They shoulda just called Gemini "Google Search 2026 (without accreditations)" in all honesty.
They really just ruined the old Google search & the old assistant with paid results to make what they call Gemini look better.
It's easy to ID the true experts who could actually fix things, they're the ones sitting home quiet or rarely interviewed on them channels nobody watches.
It's not a coincidence, it's coding.
Just want to take this moment to say that there's an estimated 6 billion people on the Internet daily, & there's no way that everyone thinks the exact same way about posts, nor any valid explanation for why select posts & content on social sites & apps should sit on any public feed all day long.
Perhaps we should really stop acting like all the apps aren't malfunctioning now because Ai vibe coding is a catastrophic scam that doesn't work for anything beyond generating sht that don't work.
Nothin beats livin in a quiet neighborhood & being woken up at 6am by noisy apocalyptic fire trucks & police cars speeding by and then not being able to find out WTF just happened because apps are no longer real-time & surpress non-pay accounts & web searches are all overrun by spam & junk content.
I don't know how this whole Internet thing is gonna survive if they keep controllin, spyin, & limiting it to death.
Everything is a plot to keep us isolated & miserable these days I guess... ๐
Restaurants will buy a $120k a year waiter robot just because they hate customers & don't want to pay a waiter or waitress $35k a year, and still need to pay someone to wash dishes & clean tables.
I was going to holler at you gurl, but then realized I'm too sleepy to put together something smart to say...

VC takeovers never go well. It probably means ads are coming at some point. Oh well! ๐ซค
All of the success tips in the world won't help to get you past the "pay for play" barrier, public unawareness about tech cheating, & inherent listener bias.
Power comes in knowing that multiple small successes are the only way to survive in places that don't want you to succeed.
It's gonna get really interesting when the rich start hoarding gasoline & toilet paper... ๐
The DMV will never be a world class establishment because 7-11 is still the only place to get a slice after 10pm, and it's just frozen pizza, microwaved by a cashier, not by a guy named Mel or Sal, who'se been working there for 15 years after his pops died.
Not even suitable as rat bait. ๐คฌ
