I think that reaches the threshold for the phrase "unforced error"

Into classic motorbikes, classic cars, Kate Bush, LFC, The Smiths, indie, 1960/70s/80s US cinema, The Beatles, and dogs. Proud dad of beautiful daughters. Hates Brexit, Farage, Johnson, Truss, Trump, Putin etc, but mostly hates Galway Girl by Ed Sheeran.
I think that reaches the threshold for the phrase "unforced error"
Wot??
It'll change tomorrow.
I, for one, welcome our cyborg insect overlords.
Happy meals by Allister Heath
I think that's really crass. This is the President of the US we're talking about.
Surely the occasion demands a really good champagne like a Cristal or Dom PΓ©rignon.
One of the best cartoons of all time.
Epstein and Andy
Love it!
... democratically, that may not matter right now, but - guess what - that will change over the next few short years. You gov puts the diff at +8 million pro-EU now.
Now I get you're trying to be, um, "edgy" and clever, but you really are coming across as a total dick.
Sorry, Marc. I tried.
"It's not because most Brits support Europe, it's just because they want something for themselves." and I *answered* that the vast majority of those under 50 don't think that way and are pro EU.
Heard of demographic trends? This is the bit that is tricky, so try and keep up ...
No, I obviously wouldn't understand either as I'm half English and have lived here for most of my life.
What I really need is some smug, know-it-all twat online to explain it to me slowly.
Nearly all here demonstrate their very own "we're in the EU" exceptionalism, without the self-awareness to realise that, had they had the misfortune to have a dick like Cameron in charge 10/15 years ago, there's a good chance they'd be outside looking in too.
Yet the vast majority under 50, and I really do mean "vast" majority, support rejoining. Yet every time I read these threads, it's sniping against Brits in general, and the English the most.
As if there isn't a massive Scottish or French or any country in the world exceptionalism.
More alarming still was when it suddenly cut back in and the bastard thing unexpectedly took off like a rocket π¨
First Past the Post can no longer deliver real mandates - only chaos. 60% of Brits want it scrapped.
Yet the Representation of the People Bill wonβt even touch our voting system, which leaves millions unrepresented.
Tell Keir Starmer to change this.

A sensible and sustainable plan would be to use *our* money to back companies like MaterialEvolution in order to scale production of low CO2 alternatives. It would also force the "mature" companies backing Peak Cluster to adopt cleaner methods. 4/5
That public money will be used, with only token public consultation, to cause irreparable damage to greenbelt land and risk acidification of the seas, without addressing the root causes of greenhouse gases is frankly shocking, and a gift to those grifters in Reform. 3/5
Basically, cement and concrete companies are looking to pump CO2 through this pipeline into former gas fields in Morecambe Bay. The companies involved have obviously ignored the progress made by companies such as www.materialevolution.com who are pioneering low C02 cement manufacture. 2/5
For those unfamiliar with Peak Cluster, this is the government using public money to railroad through an untested CCS project through a large part of NW England. This project will damage the local environments it affects, is of dubious merit, and benefits only the private company profits. 1/5
Keep up the good work. This is a shocking use of public money for an unproven and risky technology, and only benefits a failing private industry unwilling to invest in low CO2 cement.
This project needs to be stopped.
A three-pot screamer! My second bike. Traded it for a Honda 400 four after I got fed up of the middle cylinder cutting out.
Great looking little machine.
Good point re:Farage. But if (a big if) they ever form a government, their novelty, populist policies, and popularity will soon collapse once they encounter real world problems.
The UK will rejoin, eventually, but not as quickly as I would like. Younger generations are overwhelmingly pro.
Mad as a bicycle.
Settled down for an entertaining afternoon watching adverts, but ITV keeps spoiling everything by showing short and disconnected fragments of rugby in between π‘

That's gotta be a fake.
Hasn't it?
Oh no!
It's almost as if investing in a purely speculative vehicle with no utility is a bad mistake.
Who knew?
Well, that's 19 votes that won't be lost in the split then.
I've just watched Panorama, Steve. It did you great credit that you still looked for (and found) some positives about a country you so obviously love, despite Putin's crimes. I thoroughly enjoyed the programme. Keep up the brilliant work.
The bookies are risking money on it. I'd say that's a better indicator than polling.
