"Oh probably someone just put a handful there" I hear you say.

There are also 4 bubble gums thrown in as a gift.

I've ordered food for dinner for myself and it was delivered with 4 forks.

I'm emotionally crushed.

Nov 25 (Reuters) - The EU's highest court ruled on Tuesday that same-sex marriages must be respected throughout the bloc and rebuked Poland for refusing to recognise a marriage between two of its citizens that took place in Germany.

The court said Poland had been wrong in not recognising the marriage of the couple when they moved back to Poland, on the grounds that Polish law does not allow marriage between people of the same sex.

"It infringes not only the freedom to move and reside, but also the fundamental right to respect for private and family life," the court said.

(also imagine your country hating your sexual identity so much that they are willing to spend time and money to almost endlessly argue about it in courts)

I like that one of the Amazon categories on the main page is "Same Day & Overnight".

- I don't know what I want to buy but I want to get it the same day, or maybe overnight, yes!

It’s widely known (and, I think, pretty uncontroversial) that learning requires effort β€” specifically, if you don’t have to work at getting the knowledge, it won’t stick.

Even if an LLM could be trusted to give you correct information 100% of the time, it would be an inferior method of learning it.

Random q to all you London-based cybersecurity people: is there a space where I would be able to do free hardware hacking workshops for the community? :)

A screenshot of a Facebook post where a person named Andy ask the Well now β€œWhat the hell is transgender?”
The Royal Canadian Air Force account response with β€œThat’s a pretty big question asked in a pretty small way, Andy.

β€˜Transgender’ putting describes someone whose gender – who they know themselves to be – doesn’t match the sex they were assigned at birth. It’s not new, and it’s certainly not a fad. People have lived this experience for as long as people have existed; we’re just finally talking about it openly.

You don’t have to fully understand it right away, most learning takes time, but we can always start from a place of respect. That’s how decent folks handle things they’re still getting used to.”

Massive shoutout out to whoever handles the Royal Canadian Air Force’s social media account. They responded to every single comment on their already very solid Trans Day of Remembrance post and they responded like this…

My favourite Polish fact. On the first day of spring kids skip school (sometimes even in a β€œsanctioned” way) to build a straw impersonation of winter, set it on fire and throw it into a river.

Of course the older you get the more exciting reasons you have to skip school ;)

Cloudflare is down which means that downdetector - the service people use to check if things are down - is also down.

Funny internet we are having now.

One of my silly hobbies is following the Alex Jones universe. When they did Posobiec on mainstream media (CNN) I immediately knew Fuentes will be next and then at some point Alex Jones will get his own show too.

Law enforcement: we need to break encryption to get access to Signal to protect the children!!

Also law enforcement: for years couldn’t catch a pedophile sex trafficker who used email to coordinate all of his pedophile sex trafficking

+1 to travel hacking being really fun

It really depends on the needs though (obviously). My approach is very much β€œI will go anywhere as long as I haven’t been there yet”. I don’t think I bought even one ticket for the full price in over a year. Lounges also make me save money on food.
