Raw metrics of WRs from the last 2 draft years.
F*** them picks.

I think we sometimes forget how good an athlete Cole Bishop actually is.
Now that he's settled into the speed of the game, I expect that athletcism to really POP.
If they pair him up the right way in FA with a solid level starter, he could be weaponized by Jim Leonhard in some really fun ways!
Watching @aaronquinn716.bsky.social and @gregtompsett.bsky.social in youtu.be/iA6AVcJTge0?... and it occurred to me that it would be cool to see a breakdown of how projected contracts are calculated vs "value to a team" :: something of a study on "how to find value you need"
I did. I think so.

About to "talk ball" with the one and only @matchquarters.bsky.social
Digging into what to expect from NEW Bills DC Jim Leonhard!
There is a new energy built on the existing foundations from the culture built over the last 9 years at One Bills Drive.
Will that be enough "change" to get the Bills over the proverbial Playoff Wall? #BillsMafia
OC - Anthony Lynn - 57yo
No direct connection to Joe Brady. They haven't worked together.
Lynn has an extensive relationship with Pat Meyer, who is the bridge in this one.
Lynn fits "non-play caller" OC to be a teacher, game plan installer, and potential run game coordinator
OC - Jake Peetz - 40 years old
Was Joe Brady's QB coach in CAR under Rhule.
Has been around many great coaches. Started with Del Rio
LSU as the OC after Brady left (Orgeron)
pass game specialist for McVay, took OC job at Nebraska
Now is the pass game coordinator for Klint Kubiak in Seattle.
OC - Joe Lombardi - 54yo
Was the QB coach under Peyton while Brady was the OFF assistant there.
They "speak the same language" in terms of offense. Plus having a working relationship.
Lombardi is also used to being a OC in title only under Peyton.
DC - Ryan Neilsen - 46yo
Worked on Sean Peyton's staff with Brady in 2017-2020. Both considered "Peyton tree"
Has experience as a DC. Wasn't brought into the Bills org by Brady, but has a working relationship with Joe Brady. Could keep some level of continuity, while not being a McD defense.
Obviously, we all would LOVE to see
Jim Leonhard
Jim Schwartz (UNLIKELY, under contract)
Raheem Morriss
None have connections to Joe Brady, but doesn't mean they can't be hires. .
Still would LOVE any of them.
DC - Al Holcomb - 55 yo
Part McD guy for sure, but worked on the staff Carolina when Brady was there, and they worked together in Buffalo.
Has been an assistant HC multiple times in the past. Long resume of DC experience. Would be a "stablity" pick that I don't think fans would buy into.
OL - Pat Meyer - 53yo
With Brady in Carolina (2020-2021)
Has been with the Steelers since 2022, new HC there and reports entire staff "cut loose."
ALREADY HIRED
On the CURRENT staff it is hard to know who are Brady guys vs who were McD
Brady Tree Guys:
QB Coach - Ronald Curry
Quality Coach - DJ Mangas
LB Coach - Al Holcomb
DEF - Ryan Neilsen
Curry, and Mangascseem like the most "Brady Guys" of the group
I forgot to add this here.
I compile a list of POTENTIAL Joe Brady hires on that other app.
One already was announced in OL coach Pat Meyer yesterday.

I think the Bills have threaded a fine needle in maintaining a lot of good about a stable organization of the past 9 years but giving that a new voice.
One that is a little more cocky. A little more swagger. A little less tight.
I think there is something there.
GET IN HERE #BillsMafia
Again, call me a homer.
Say I'm coping.
I think Joe Brady crushed this afternoon.
I'm very excited about this next version of the Buffalo Bills.
Joe Brady confirms he plans to call plays as the HC.
OC hire will certainly be one of his guys, IMO.
Pair up Joe Brady's energy and ideology with Jim Leonhard, and I'll run through the playoff wall myself!
Find somebody who looks at you the way Joe Brady keeps looking over at Josh Allen.
Dude... hard not to like this guy. I see why he crushed interviews. The passion is palpable.
"Playing for me, but being YOU with US" Love that line.
"I didn't take this job to shy away from expectations"
"The gotta play US and not the other way around"
