Absolutely love this one, even though I haven’t played it myself yet, because I was kind of waiting for an eventual revival :)

Thank you all for attending the Live Q&A! The Vod is up on my channel for those who missed it, but I leave you with this message.

What AGP (old graphics card) abuse looks like:
I've washed the scratch and discovered it's not that bad. What you've seen isn't bear metal (which is what I've initially feared), it was just the paint from the other car. Still, when I have money I'll make sure the door is restored.
I then proceed to read the Accolade manual and suddently everything made sense.
The funny part is they didn't even bother to outline anything graphically (it was just a couple of sentences), but it was still easier to understand than whatever Sega tried to show schematically.
Long story short: the way they've shown the logic is so confusing that it made me think the bit write order was from MSB to LSB, not the other way around (which is how it should be done). This lead to several hours of debbugging on a broken logic that's flawed to its foundation.
In the middle of rewriting my Z80 driver with the new logic for the Mega Drive I had to undestand how bank switching works to read ROM. "Just a matter of reading the official Sega manual" at least that's what I thought.
I'm planning on using all my money for repairs. I've carved that thing, I pay for it, also because I don't want to leave it like that. I'll find a job next year, so I don't care about my wallet.
If only I could get back in time...
There's no visible damage to the other car I collided with, which is awesome (in fact the owner just drove away without even noticing).
However, since that happened on McDonald's, I didn't consider tasting the food with my friend, I was too upset. I feel like an idiot.
You can see the face of disappointment from here
...as the first time, l've accidentally scratched my car's door while parking in a slim spot.
Don't get me wrong, that parking space was stupidly small, but it's all on me by just assuming that getting super close to the left sidewalk was enough to clear the space to the right.
Not my cat bringing a dead mouse at the doorstep as the Christmas present 😆
Finally got my driver’s license (the pink one)!
I also completed my IDs collection in my wallet (along with my school badge at the bottom)
(sorry, I meant the real Malachi: @malachich.bsky.social, selected the wrong person for credits)
(also thanks to @malachy.bsky.social for the help and @retrodev.com for creating BlastEm, which contributed a lot in discovering this dumb problem)
Apparently, the genius of one year ago (me), decided not to bother about setting every other "unused" VDP mode register to zero... so, it turns out my logic was perfectly valid from the very beginning. I lost so much time...
As a lesson, double-check your VDP registers, folks.
After A WHOLE YEAR OF DESPERATION, I found out that the issue was on the tip of my nose the whole time: the VDP's mode registers didn't have their "mandatory" bits set, so the VINT flag wasn't clearing when it sends VBlank interrupts. This stupid oversight screwed up timing hard.
Since BlastEm was reproducing this issue perfectly, I decided to rely on it to get a clue of what wasn't working. At this point, I tried everything to stop it from making ear-wrecking noises.
But no, it wasn't working, despite my effort.
I didn't lose my temper, thankfully.
Here's one thing that deserves to be told here.
So, one year ago, I started developing my own Z80 audio driver for the Sega Mega Drive, with my own logic designed from scratch. It's supposed to provide smooth 32 kHz audio.
But there was an issue: it wasn't working on real hardware.
She's fine now.
I was so worried that a test at school went badly because of the stress. I honestly don't care much, also because my classmates said it was hard and confusing.
My cat's been drooling and vomiting all over the place. She's out and I need to take her to the vet as soon as possible. Hopefully she's okay.
I feel really sorry for your situation. I would donate money if I had any.
I hope you’ll find the success you deserve, I cannot stop listening to the Fallen Star album!

There will always be rude and clueless users in every 50 comments or so. The world is diverse. Try not to let this get to you: it’s the norm, sadly.
Surgical stitches are not for beginners.
As compensation, I'll soon get back home from the hospital!
About to get surgery to remove my pesky appendix. Interesting.
“Aw, yeah! This is happening!”
By the way, this is the definition of happiness.
Bought the third one, a bit more than £5.50 left (I started my trip with ~£273).
To be fair, every volume costed circa 54 quid, so I haven’t spent my entire money only in Sonic IDW comics (I’m proud I did so).
I might be living in a state of dysphoria that's slowly getting away, who knows?
Perhaps, it could be discontent. Boredom has always been part of my life as I'm waiting for nice things to happen, but the Sonic franchise is already dismantling it. This motivates me to keep my personal projects alive.
