Our movement is almost 20% dads and male carers, and growing. We know that most people want to see strong climate action, so that number is set to grow!
Weβre celebrating the dads in our movement today and inviting more in. There is a place for everybody and all skills and experience are welcome.
Looking forward to co-facilitating Parent/Carers Climate Circle on Monday for @parentsforfutureuk.bsky.social
There is magic in sharing, we are none of us supposed to do any of this alone.

As we hit the school holidays and requests for snacks go up threefold, hereβs one action we can take.
We have to also come together to create system level positive change. Moving away from fossil fuels, investing in homegrown renewables and changing our food systems can make an incredible impact.
Parents for Future UK Scarborough & York and North Yorkshire local groups are working together with Frack Free Coastal Communities to stop drilling for gas in Burniston.
If we want a liveable planet - we must stop drilling.
Object today, deadline 26th March: www.ruthpickett.co.uk/frackfreecoa...
β½ Did you know 86% of 5-15 years participate in sporting activities?
π°And did you know that fossil fuel companies spent $5.6 billion last year alone to advertise in sports?
π₯ We need a total ban on fossil fuel advertising. Itβs time to give them the red card!
Join us to work together on this.
This week weβve been meeting MPs to call for an end to all new oil and gas extraction, starting with Rosebank.
We need everybodyβs voices on this including families from across the UK. For our kids. For everyone.
We definitely let them know we must #StopRosebank!
Weβll be surrounding our kids with POSITIVE ENERGY tomorrow at our first family lobby in Parliament, with local meetings also happening the country.
Itβs time for parents and our representatives to come together to protect a safer planet for them and all kids today. And for futureβs sake.
Wonderful!
This is why we have to #StopRosebank. For all kids. Join the @stopcambo.bsky.social week of action March 3rd. Meet with MPs to ask them to stand on the side of all kids and against Rosebank oil field.
Featuring our very own volunteer Megan!
Truly.
Oof. Yes.
Our research shows that parents think environmental factors like tackling the climate crisis & biodiversity loss are just as important as a good education.
At the moment weβre on track to protect neither.
Yet more extreme weather.
Letβs come together to move away from fossil fuels today.
Thanks Tolly!
