If they own congress. Nothing will save our election.

I’ve been thinking about this all day - and about 50+ years of journalism and media teaching Americans to think this way.

We could soon die in a nuclear holocaust because it was easier than jailing a pedophile ring

Day 410

Yesterday, the dementia ridden pedophile took time out from killing civilians in Iran to announce his next target.

Cuba.

Is anyone going to stop this ego maniac?

Firstly they should take away both the World Cup and the Olympics.

See if that gets his attention.

You are all caught up.

The House voted 357 - 65 to block the release of Congressional sexual misconduct reports.

182 Democrats & 175 Republicans voted to shield their misconduct from the public.

They want the Epstein files released but not the files on themselves released.

The entire system must go!

Now I've been told many times, very angrily, that the Dems are the good guys and it's silly to suggest otherwise. Yet there are 200-something Dems in the House so the math here doesn't seem to add up. Curious!

I saw so many people claim to care so bad about Jasmine’s stance on Israel when Talarico said a similar stance and has donors that are very openly Pro-Israel.

My point in sharing this is people decided that it didn’t matter what Jasmine said or did… they didn’t want a Black woman to win.

Everything in Texas is bigger..

Including the racism and redistricting to ensure a smart, feisty black woman would lose to a religious fanatic with a preacher father.

However, Talarico requires your vote and you gotta take the lesser of the evils and do just that.

Vote for Talarico or lose Texas.

Resist β€˜dangerous and socially unacceptable’ age checks for social media, scientists warn Computer scientists are campaigning against the global march toward age checks online.

Over 400 scientists have signed a letter calling for a moratorium on the deployment of age-verification technologies. The letter suggests the widespread deployment of untested AV tech is making the internet less safe.

Personally, I always liked R5E better.

I suppose.

It's just that I can't shake the feeling everything he says and does feels not just performative, but specifically engineered to appeal to a wide voter base, rather than being borne of conviction.

In a sense, it reminds me of MTG. All polling/PR and no authenticity/principles.

03.03.2026 16:45 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

Fair enough. Can't (and certainly wouldn't) tell you how to use your vote.

All I can do is voice my opinion, and I seriously think something is really off about him.

03.03.2026 16:03 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

He's also made veiled racist comments about black politicians and taken lots of money from zionist Trump backers.

It all stinks of performative rhetoric, just waiting for the right time for a rug pull.

I don't trust any politician, but this one feels even more off than usual.

I've yet to see s Christian, especially in politics, who talks about their faith that much while simultaneously being compassionate and/or actually following Christ's teachings.

It's performative faith signaling, and a massive red flag.

Plus, religion played a large role in getting us here.

Pass.

While Dems have proven to be fecklessly incompetent at best and shamelessly complicit at worst, the only way to move the needle ATM is still "vote blue no matter who".

That said, Texas is stuck with two terrible choices: an establishment Dem, or a racist religious zealot. The later is worse, IMO.

AI-generated art can’t be copyrighted after Supreme Court declines to review the rule A lower court previously said that β€œhuman authorship is a bedrock requirement of copyright.”

The fact that this is sticking is *extremely* good, and I'm frankly surprised every time I remember it that it hasn't had an impact on the AI bubble already.

You *don't own* anything you generate (and shouldn't, even in the imaginary land of an ethical generator).

3 US planes shot down in one night from friendly fire from a permanent Air Force base in Kuwait?

Plausible that gutting our military high-command of any non-white-males may have contributed to the absurd level of incompetence in executing this absurd war.

πŸ“ŒChuck Schumer works for AIPAC, not America -- and certainly not Democrats.

He's a duplicitous disgrace.

He started a war without getting congressional approval WITH A MAJORITY. Side stepping your own party means there’s no more separation of powers. It’s just all Trump.

Why would anything Trump does be "a distraction from Epstein"? What consequences was he in fact facing or at risk of facing? The guy just wanted to blow up Muslims.

Everyone in Congress needs to be voted out.

ALL of them.

Even the Democrats.

Totally fucking incompetent.

Y'all, at this point, are we really gonna wait for this do-nothing Congress while our rights are stripped and our lives are lost to fill their coffers? If we're gonna suffer and die at their hands no matter what we do, shouldn't we fight?

Never forget, THEY stormed the capital once. Just sayin'.

Hate to break it to you, but congress is a vestigial organ of what used to be a functioning government body.

The entire political class bent the knee to a mad king and traded irrelevance for AIPAC money and insider trading. Even you, Jasmine.

If you really wanted to do something, you would have.

01.03.2026 21:16 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

I am, sadly, not shocked Carney is ready to nod along with Trump doing horrible shit in Iran.

I read everything he does through the lens of "Is this good for Canada's money?"; it always works. That's a freebie in good relations with our largest trade partner, at no (financial) cost to Canada.

28.02.2026 23:13 πŸ‘ 12 πŸ” 1 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

If you voted for Trump, this is on you.

If you voted third party, this is on you.

If you chose not to vote at all, this is on you.

Your reasons are irrelevant.

Um, we have a corporate duopoly. Dems WANT this. If it goes β€˜well,’ they’re happy. If it doesn’t, they will run on it. Win-win for these feckless ghouls. It’s called controlled opposition.
