Yeah, a team with postseason aspirations needs to make sure the pitching is as solid as possible. But no one could’ve predicted the injuries to Manaea and Montas, and I didn’t think Montas would be THIS bad.
I’m willing to cut Stearns some slack as it’s only his second year steering the ship. He definitely should’ve pursued another quality starter or two at some point in the last 8 months though. Hopefully at least 2 of the 3 kids in the minors are legit 🤷🏻♂️
