Down by the Catskill Creek
Chicago rocks
Wow!
Dedicated to Martin Niemoller’s WWII poem,”And then they came for me…”. This poem teaches us- there is no safety in complicity or in silence. When one of us is threatened with a loss of constitutional rights, we are all unsafe.
Yup- gotta tell the inner critic, HUSH- sometimes!
All’s well with the world for a moment as our grandson sings
A week ago I got to experience the Grand Canyon and was awe struck. I hiked a mile in to this special spot and had this open view all to myself at sunset. With all the turmoil going on, this was the magic my soul needed.

Rondout Creek Worksite
This is the full painting from which the earlier section was taken-I’m contemplating the title- The Agonies of Power. In trying to make sense of the explosion of conflict across the globe I started to see it as a confluence of aggression and human strife, not as separate. From the left, Russia over Ukraine, Israel over Gaza, Sudan split against itself, and our current regime over our people. We the people, everywhere, struggle below.
Nice way to start the day!
Back atcha!
Very cool
Beautiful!
End of the day
Everyone in the kitchen…time to make the meatballs!
