Congrats π sounds like a blast π₯³ love all the stuff you've been posting lately
The funniest thing to me is that to fall asleep we just lay down and pretend we're falling asleep and then that causes us to actually fall asleep.
bsky.app/profile/hman...
Looks very promising as well
Yeah I reinstalled the extension and tried to init the project but got an error talking about how glibc 2.2.8+ wasn't found. I just created an issue for you on the GitHub in case that helps.
Oh dear, my setup must be more cursed than I realized. I'll try again tomorrow and report back.
Thank you! Will that work with the VS Code extension as well?
I think we have glibc 2.26 which wasn't compatible. I appreciate everything you do, I don't need to burden you with an ask like that. I'm hoping we'll get some more up to date Linux kernels here at work haha
This is such a nice post, just simple kindness. Doing well, going to continue trying to orchestrate some agents without chainlink cause our Linux on our dev environments are too old.
Look, I believe in casts, but if a parent has strongly-held anti-cast beliefs, they should be allowed to let their kidβs broken arm grow back all floppy and fucked up, even to the point of lifelong, debilitating pain. And thatβs not child abuse because a kidβs bones are their parentsβ property
Thoughts on Marimo?
Butcher and Bee has been good to me when I've been - www.butcherandbee.com/nashville
I love pydantic, I just wish I knew more about the secrets behind that wasm based python demo with no explicit package management.
Please let me know if you find out anything else about it! I wish more people knew about it.
"Shitter" XD
I love these kinds of posts cause I invariably find so many random and great things out there
pydantic.run
It was this, it's not the most fleshed out demo but even something simple like
```import pandas as pd
df = pd.DataFrame()
print(df)```
Just runs, I wish it was a little more fully featured but alas.
Pydantic had this great little web based python demo that automatically discovered the dependencies needed from the code and then installed it automatically using uv and I've been chasing that UX ever since
Anything in Python that you wish was implemented differently?
Love a good graph π»ππ
Finally!
I hope to do something as amazing as this someday
Is this going to be a regular series of posts? I would love that! Thanks for the guide!
Have you thought about creating a version where the spacing for HOP takes up the same room as if it was HOPE but without the E ? I think that would be hilarious
It's finally here. Zed is available on Windows.
Built from scratch, and rendering at 1 million pixels/millisecond.
Download it today π
I had high hopes for Daft, glad to see DuckDB still on top however!
β¨ Big O β¨
Let me take you on a visual introduction to what big O notation is in my new blog post: samwho.dev/big-o.
With big O notation you can better understand how algorithms will perform in practice, finding orders of magnitude improvements often with very simple changes to your code.
This is some top notch stuff! Keep it up
Steve I missed your posts, glad I found you again!
Is this WSL by chance? I had some difficulties before updating some settings that I can't remember
