I’m really bad at posting here, but I have news. It’s last minute because a spot opened up, but:
YA GIRL IS EXHIBITING AT AWESOME CON! And I’ll have a con exclusive first look at the 4th and final book in my series, Wandering Magic, coming April 19.
See you next weekend at Awesome Con!
I didn’t post my Feral Friday as my friend called it “thirst trap” here, so I’m doing it a day late. Showing off the no pants look because I’ve been working hard on leg days. But mostly I just really hate pants.
My job is mostly working on Meta paid ads. You know, the thing that makes me want to yeet my computer out the window on a daily basis.
I miss doing digital marketing for tech companies, marketing firms suck.
I love my cover designer so damn much!
Finally got the ARCs for my upcoming romantasy heist book, WANDERING MAGIC, coming April 19. It’s the 4th and final book in the Magic, Love, and Mischief series. It can be read as a standalone. So, if you want a copy to read and review, sign up here forms.gle/pXuXsjZcFKbv...
She’s perfect!
I’m running a Galentine’s Day D&D one-shot again this year, and the only thing I have so far is an NPC named Chappell Gnome. I’ve been giggling over it for days now.
I still don’t have anything else and it’s a week and a half away.
Just a heads up: I am accomplishing very little at work today because I don’t want to be here.
That is all.
If you’re new here, hi, I write romances that feature characters across the sexuality spectrum.
My paranormal romance series, Magic, Love, and Mischief keeps getting progressively more queer. Book 4 come out this year, and features a pansexual fmc in polyamorous heist team.
Why yes, my arms are shaking because I decided to take a quick break from work to do some weight lifting and may have overdone just a bit. It’s now hard to use a mouse and type.
Well, typeset edits for book 4 in Magic, Love, and Mischief have been accepted. And tomorrow my first monster romance novella under my pen name releases. It’s (hopefully) going to be a good writer year for me.
Not to brag, but like totally brag anyway, but I just made a totally bomb French onion soup.
I thought most of my events would be in the spring, but ya girl got into a small self-proclaimed nerd convention in February. And I’ll (hopefully) know soon if I got into Awesome Con again. I had to drop out last year because it was over Orion’s birthday. Fingers crossed!
Sometimes you just have to write it!
My brain is like I need to write the story of one of my characters from my latest book.
My mental health is like girl, you have a manuscript due in a few months and you are launching your self-published novella series next month. All this while working full time and raising kids. Fucking stop!
My Zon account has been effected by the account lock, so my kids have come up with their own solutions.
Orion wants to scold them and tell them to fix it.
Artemis wants to build her own Amazon. Hope you’re ready for a UI that’s all blue and sparkly.
My kids are on winter break and I’m working from home. The sounds of my 5yo son singing Hot to Go to himself downstairs is making this an extremely entertaining afternoon.
Whatever your feelings on AI, I use it for dumb things. Like I couldn’t figure out what to make for dinner so I used ChatGPT. Told it the ingredients I had and now I have a delicious meal with minimal effort. Because I’m lazy.
Working from home today because my youngest had a meltdown before school. It was so draining trying to help her because she’s the one with more violent episodes. My kids are amazing, but some days it’s really hard to be a parent to two autistic children.
He actually taught me how to season it. And because I’ve been so diligent about seasoning, it seems, I was able to work out the inch of charcoal and got it cleaned. It’ll need to be reseasoned, but years of bacon grease saved it from a scorched death!
After 12 years of marriage I have to divorce my husband. He accidentally ruined my Dutch oven by putting the roast on high by mistake.
Years of seasoning gone just like that! I must mourn my beloved cast iron now. YEARS AND LAYERS OF SEASONING WASTED!
You can take the girl out of the Midwest, but you can’t take the refrigerator drawer full of leftover dipping sauce containers from the girl.
Between the downpour outside with me at the window seat and the holiday lo-fi we have playing on the tv at the office, I’m about to crawl under this desk and nap at work. And I honestly don’t think my boss would say anything.
Two kids in school, I can only dodge illness for so long. Miss you too!
Thanks, friend. Hugs are very much appreciate, even virtual ones
My Christmas/Chanukah gift to myself was a new dryer, because mine decided to take and shit and die the week my son and husband spent a full day vomiting on everything and I had a literal mountain of laundry to do.
That was fun.
I used me lunch break to start my gingersnap dough. That felt like a better use of my time than whatever the fuck my full-time job is supposed to be.
What’s that? My latest book in my hometown library! I love when people from Celina send me pictures of my books in the local library, which is where I first dreamed of having my book on a shelf.
Words cannot express enough why this dedication means so much to me. These people changed my life, so I wrote a love letter to D&D and romance because of them, and used some of the hijinks we got into for the story.
