Final Fantasy fans:

Got a sneak peak at the lineup for the Spring season.

Glad to see Wolverine in Marvel Tokon, and it's coming out earlier than I expected.

Disappointed by no FF7R3, but I'm sure it'll be at Summer Games Fest.

Itching for Onimusha release date, but I guess we'll have to wait until after RE9 and Pragmata are out.

All in all, a solid State of Play.

Although I'm sure Magneto will be on a villains team with Dr. Doom

I had a feeling they would be absent when I saw that earlier today they dropped a Killer Inn trailer with zero fanfare.

I feel like they wouldn't do that if there was something in the State of Play that would completely overshadow it.

They need to work on the mechanics a little more, the last beta felt really awkward. Some of that might be due to the challenges of managing 4 characters on a game pad. Perhaps we as a society are not ready for 4v4.

Marvel Tokon is fun, but it's been 6 months since the game was announced and they haven't revealed any new characters. If this is supposed to be a 2026 release, it's looking like late 2026, which would be a shame because it would mean missing EVO.

In some ways, this translation is even weirder because since when is Dyne somebody who loves all the little children in town? This might make sense if he were talking to Biggs, but this is inventing a brand new character trait for Dyne out of nowhere.
