Camper van kitchen sink cabinet coming together. Next is plugging the pocket jig holes, urethane coating for everything, side plywood panels, install back access door with drop down shelf, side shelf that swings up, sink install, foot pump with 7 gal jugs and bucket for grey water. Secure in van.

Mile High stadium looking moody this evening.
The mountains looking spectacular today.
Left work later than planned. Positive result was getting to see amazing sunset colors looking east towards downtown Denver.
Great progress on the camper van today. Doesnβt look like much since my last post, but lots of details sorted out. Also not seen is that each time we work on the van we need to take everything out. Main achievement today is installing overhead storage using LiftLockers and Patagonia duffle bags.
Ace Hardware in Arvada on Ralston Road. Totally surprised to find a liquor store in an Ace Hardware.

Western stock show parade down 17th street in downtown Denver.
Super progress on the camper van. The walls are installed. Wheel well covers made and need to be treated with urethane. Frame to secure the Trelino toilet made and needs urethane. Hele Box cots need to be secured. Van is back ready to adventure. Foto 1 where we started. Foto 2&3 where we are at.
Doesnβt look like much changed between yesterdayβs photo and todayβs foto, but lots behind the scenes action (and hitting the stores for more washers, specialty bolts, etc).
Wall panels are installed. Wheel well cover design is looking good. Frame to hold Trelino toilet ready to cut out.
Almost done with the camper van walls. One more upper panel behind driverβs seat to cut and install. Ran out of washers; so store run in the morning. Design, build, insulate, and install wheel well covers. Build frame for securing composting toilet and we are ready to get back on the road. Sink soon
Success installing three wall panels today. After measuring many times I trimmed the driverβs side rear middle panel about 1/4β too small! How to fix it? While the joiner strips didnβt work; the edging strips fixed the issue. You can see them in place on the passenger side to finish that gap.
Using lipstick to transfer bolt hole locations to the wall panels is working well. Took some time to get our workflow going for this stage of the camper van build. Two wall panels installed; eight more to go.
Got all of the major cuts on the camper van wall panels done today. Up next is jigsaw and drill work. Then finish insulating and screwing in the panels. Today went much smoother than expected. Anna created the templates while I wrangled the circular saw. Great team work.
Supplies procured for finishing insulation and installing walls in the transit camper can build. We decided to go with whiteboard wallboard to keep the inside of the van bright. Also way cheaper than Baltic birch plywood and we can always change later if needed.
Installed the floor trim in our transit camper van conversion a few days ago. Trim covers the floor at the back door, along the front behind the seats, and the side door step. We used AVCrig trim and had the step custom cut to create a small storage space that would have been unused space.
Christmas Eve in the Denver metro area.
Chef John (food network) Apple Fritter Quick Bread. Super tasty. I reduced the sugar and need to cut the cinnamon in half next time. I trusted Chef John on not peeling the apples if using a honeycrisp. Not peeling worked great and so much faster.
