As a kid, I was always impressed the size of bell peppers (aka "mangos" is you're from Ohio). But as you grow up you realize they don't taste like much.
Jalapeño peppers are my new fav. You can take out the seeds and inner membrane and you're left with smokey flavor. Easy to grow. Abundant.
