I tried the GPT-5 API too. It’s very slow and unusable. Requests with 'minimal' reasoning effort take around 15-20 seconds to complete when with 4o model it was around 5 seconds. Output quality is also much lower.

Maybe PageSpeed Insights is a little slow for some sites typical users. Though is that a bad thing to overemphasise issues and opportunities?
But also perhaps consider that maybe, just maybe, your high-end dev devices aren’t those used by the average users either and may be masking real issues? 🤔
