I'd say that my biggest struggle over these 5 weeks was Substance Designer. Despite how quickly I managed to conquer it, it is still a time consuming process to complete even one Trim Sheet. Shown below is my first attempt at it. I am happy at the shift in pace however. Things will get faster :))

For Week 9, I spent most of it working on UVs once again, although this time I was shifting files into my official project so I could see how the textures looked in-engine. Combine that with arranging the environment somewhat and adding more details and that was how my week wrapped up.

Week 8 was where things finally started coming together. I used the previously mentioned Trim Sheets and used them to give my models texture. This time was mostly spent on UVs and making sure things really looked good.

It was Week 7 where I realized I needed to pull together some kind of comprehensive art style for my project and my old Trim Sheet wasn't cutting it. So I managed to learn Adobe Substance Designer in a day and was able to produce multiple new Trim Sheets that were better fitting.

Picking up where I left off, Week 6 picked up speed immediately. I began pulling multiple houses together to further populate the world. I also created props that will be placed around the environment. I even finished the church by this point.

My biggest struggle during this period of time was definitely the texturing and trim sheet. Now I work on blocking out the environment properly. Though I do hope that now that I'm more familiar with the process of creation, texture, UV, and import, things will start moving much faster. /6

By Week 3, I was satisfied with my model collection, though I figured I'd add more as time went on. This portion was spent on making a trim sheet for the test house. Admittedly this took more time than I'd have liked it to, as I was previously unfamiliar with the concept and creation process. /4

Week 2 was spent much the same way. Modeling pieces to be used. However, this was also about the time I started pulling these modular pieces together to start developing my digital world. /3

My first task when getting into this project was to create a number of modular pieces that could be used in a variety of ways. My first week back was spent mostly on this process. The first image is what I had when our Break started, and the second is of the spread I have available now. /2
