Paris catacombs
Of course I find out a Year later that I didnt... damnit, had posted it on twtr not here... : (
I wish you had that time... like when you posted bionicle art a while ago, as much as I adore your nsfw work id love to see more personal sfw stuff too.
oh I spend a lot of time on internet archive, love the site... but yes, and even on it, software can be really hard to find... it does end up feeling like being a digital archeologist
weirdos like me that will browse specific tags for a long time may find more obscured artists, but to a more general public yeah, much less visibility nowadays
Showing your art is generally a bit of a challenge nowadays, gallery sites tend to be more industry focused as you mention in one of the replies, and if you dont want to advertise your work "for the sake of employment/commision work" its easy to just, post for the void
I also dont interact as often on discords for example where id find new people, mostly as im busy with work or just, dont feel like navigating a server already talking amongst themselves. Like me there are many people!
As a result its pretty hard to "find" me as the algorithms want whats hot and im ice cold lol. But I also very much have accepted that in the modern day people like me who post rarely will not be seen as frequently.
I personally tried at first to make my social media just be my artwork, however most my work was never really displayed as over the years moving between sites (Forums, DA, Tumblr, Twitter, here) id forget to upload older stuff, and as I kept switching platforms i'd just post less and less often too
Every few weeks I go search some old thing from the pre-2010s and every forum without fail, has imageshack, photobucket, whatever, images all gone. Linkrot visualized... its disheartening : (.
Even things from the early 2010s are gone it sucks...
Average game dev occurrence
Like, if you create work of any kind and its used in many places with none or barely any change, I feel you should recieve royalties. If its heavily changed and remixed, like sampling in music, it becomes hard to track but if possible minor royalties should be justified.
I assure personally I am still very much interested in the games development and your art in general, things take time
Name of a sex worker capable of predicting the future
Of what little I know of photography fast moving thing + dark in color tells me it must be a massive pain. You either have to use a lot of exposure and pray they dont move, or in flight you get "rod" cryptid pictures cause of too much exposure trying to catch em in the dark
Designed for fun a Superfiring Sniper Rifle cause I really like the style of guns in the Terramity mod for Minecraft.
bsky.app/profile/unus... Sorry made it a seperate post but here he is (I have used blender many times to be fair)
A 64x64 texture of a rat, done with 9 colors (1 being transparency)
Demonstration of how graphics with transparency can allow for complex textures to be in a single triangle
And heres the poor guys texture!
Low Poly rat, 40 tris!
They're a keeper
You overall do look like like a cute animal girl
The complexity of why we are mistreated ends up being this long web of: Societal influences, our harmers own nature and nurture, circumstances and literal lack of luck... its a mess...
Regardless no one by default, deserves harm, and neither did you
But the reality is that people are in the end not superior to animals, we are animals, just as flawed, as prone to act in ways that dont make "moral" sense. People write about complex concepts but still act the same way any animal would given the right (bad) circumstances.
I do understand what you felt, as I myself felt I could not be "human" for my mistreatment to make sense. Bullying from both kids my age, and adult teachers and school workers...
Mistreatment from some family members who refered to me as of low intelligence at the time...
To view an animal as "bad" you have to see it as below reason, which sadly many people do to others. Some people are just incapable of empathy and will harm others ignoring the others wellbeing, you dont need to be an animal for those people to choose to harm, they are sadly just assholes
I dont think animals can be "bad" per se, animals mostly live off instinct due to their inteligence, in a situation where an animal is not suffering in some way, be it anxiety, pain, starvation, etc. Animals can be reasonable and with as much personality as people.
I know the post is about the sounds effects, which are nice and satisfying, but the graphics to me are gorgeous too
While a bit of work, internet archivehas a lot of free stuff generally, including music and sound effects... though a lot will feel apropriately old
But it also feels like you have figured yourself out I guess, after so many years of rediscovery and the likes... to me my 30s have started well : )
Sure work takes quite a bit of your time, but I am still managing to try new stuff, game dev is something I was super anxious about learning in my 20s but have managed 2 tiny projects and I turned 30 last year...
