Spicy Chopsticks restaurant in Cuyahoga Falls. Really nice family vibes here and good food. If we keep eating here I'm going to have to learn how to eat pho.

My alma mater, THE Ohio State University took money from this clown via Anduril to infuse even more cash into athletics. Between bowing to (close associate of Jeffrey Epstein) Les Wexner, covering up sexual abuse, and hiring President Top Gun, it's safe to say that school is rotten to the core.
LOL! I love that that's on the map!
A map from the running app strava depicting a 4.55 mile run in north Columbus.
I went the e tra mile today. I'm going to try and start building my distance back up.

Some of my best library pals are in DC this week participating in the Chief Officers of State Library Agencies' (COSLA) Voices for Libraries event. Looking good Library Pals!
That's a W for the #uswnt 1-0 over Canada. #shebelieves #shebelievescup
Emma Sears subbed in for Trinity Rodman in the 70th minute!
And Ally Sentnor squeezes one in. #uswnt is up 1-0 over Canada.
Excited to see Ohio's own Rose Lavelle playing tonight and hoping to see Dublin/Ohio State alum Emma Sears maybe get some minutes too! #uswnt
A view of a women's soccer match from the upper deck behind the ending. It's an evening match and the stands are 3/4 full.
26 minutes in and no score at Scott's Miracle Gro Field. #uswnt #shebelieves #shebelievescup #usavscanada
I updated my blog to reflect some recent progress on the Akron almost-mansion. Reposting here for the morning crew.
Thanks Don. I appreciate your enthusiasm. And that almost-mansion needs all the stanning it can get!!!
It's been a while since I've posted an update on the Akron almost-mansion, so I'm fixing that now. This post contains previously unseen before pics as well as an amazing sunset. There's also important information regarding our granddaughter's height on 01/17/26. onsummit.blogspot.com/2026/03/wher...
I'm curious what Section and Unit that is? I'm at Section 2, Unit 3 and felt like I got about half of that. Also, my brain needs some exercise too because none of this French seems to be sticking.
No thanks.
FWIW, I concur on these points. Cleveland worked hard on their NWSL bid and made it to the final round, just losing out to Denver. They deserve a franchise. In turning away from that work and supporting NWSL expansion in Columbus, the Haslams remain trash.
Wherein @spuriousdiphthongs.bsky.social answers all questions about women's professional sports in Ohio, a thread:
This reminds me that @thestorygraph.com is a good alternative to GoodReads (Amazon). I made the switch awhile back and I'm mostly satisfied. I do wish there was more functionality in terms of commenting, but it's worth it to cut the Amazon cord. I'm @jregensburger for anyone who wants to follow.
LOL. Turns out the close associate of convicted sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein really liked Picasso too. What are the odds?
Also, that vanity show of his art collection they held at the Wexner Center was an abomination. One of my greatest regrets as an arts writer for @colsunderground.bsky.social was not shitting all over that when I had the chance. tinyurl.com/y858my3m It was equal parts sad, thirsty, and repellant.
That's right. Their support of close associate of Jeffrey Epstein, Les Wexner...in 2023!!! From a Columbus Dispatch article, "Sources close to the president said Johnson decided she could no longer work with Les Wexner and certain trustees who are loyal to him and who push for his interests."
Now I'm indignant all over again about how OSU ended up with President Flight Deck in the first place! We'll never know the full story (nondisclosure agreements and all), but the Board basically forced Kristina Johnson into an untenable position through their support of Les Wexner.
I'm an alum and actively discouraged my niece from attending. Between the appointment of President Top Gun, sexual abuse cover ups, Wexner's complicity, and actively courting war profiteers, I could not in good conscience recommend OSU.
