so so good
so so good
the joys of pulling up a new album on streaming services ands seeing a sub 40 min runtime
and her imagination library π program is awesome. when our eldest was a baby in nashville weβd get a free book in the mail every month from her organization!
was brought up in a group chat earlier by @vriphish76.shakedown.social.ap.brid.gy and youβre both spot on!
karma was great! will listen to the others you rec'd soon. really dug the sonny sharrock album! eager to poke through his catalog, too.
hell yeah, brother. thanks for the recs! writing 'em down!
dipping into the pharaoh sanders pool and LOVING what iβve heard (see below). where to next?
adjusted the dates on these postponed shows on thecarton.net, my sincere condolences to the band
joe zawinul is so great that miles davis and cannonball adderley named whole albums after songs he wrote. never mind the fact that he composed birdland π€―
love the stacked summer plans!
heck yeah. hope you catch some bangers!
excited to give a second spin! gotta squeeze this all in before eggy tour takes over my ears the next two months, LOL

If someone asked me to pick just one year of Phish to listen to exclusively for the rest of my life and I ended up with 1994, I'd be a very happy camper. Although to be fair I'd feel the same if I got 1995, 1997, 1998, 1999, or 2003.
15 shows in 18 days this month is some mid-90s phish dedication. can't wait!
I've heard 39 albums that have been released in 2026 and really, really enjoyed 19 of them. I honestly think Johnny Blue Skies might be my favorite of the bunch so far.
New Sturgill Simpson aka Johnny Blue Skies is the business! It's early in the year but this quickly joined my 2026 AOTY shortlist. youtu.be/QKHGmFvzjJ4?...
just listened to freddie hubbardβs first album (1960) and was pleasantly surprised to see billy e. tickling the ivories. he rules.
heck yeah!
sounds great! jealous of little manβs jam band CV!
heck yeah! heady little guy. letβs try to connect before showtime in vegas π
if early last year was any indication, catching the first few shows of a long tour pays dividends!
If it pans out as planned I've got six shows in the hopper in April and two more to start May. This is the equivalent of me doing all of Fall 94 Phish tour. Wookery!
Eggy in Solana Beach, LA, and Las Vegas (x2)
Grahame Lesh with Jake and Dani
Phish N1 week 2
Taper's Choice (x2)
oh yeah! love to hear all of this. we should definitely connect and have you on the pod (if thatβs the kinda thing youβd be into) to talk through fav jams you caught during this stretch.
love hearing this. iβve always thought there was something thatβs hard to firmly point to in their lyrics and musicality about self-acceptance and self-love. thanks for sharing!
and treyβs not even in the house yet!
keeping an eye on the sphere for all you wooks
hell yeah π€
excited on your behalf!
