Also a truck crashed into a tree & a shrub outside my apartment. So that was an interesting side quest.

As much as I want to stay up to watch the event wrap up, I'm insanely tired & my brain feels like mush.

I love that my friends know I collect weird things. I came to work today to a stack of old laser discs on my desk & omg they're so fucking cool.

Started playing Hades again after not playing for over a year.

Rusty at first, but I had 2 successful escapes back to back last night & I'm pretty damn proud of that.

*hides the other 129 attempts before that under the rug*

I think that's enough seriousness for now.

I'm gonna try to get some school work done. Or maybe finish cleaning up my craft area..

I know we milliennials joke about living through so many historical events, but it's actually insane to have seen everything that led up to this point.

It's also terrifying not knowing what comes next.

It terrified those in power because it was becoming harder to keep everyone divided & isolated.

People were building communities.

People were able to earn a living & survive on their own terms instead of the government's.

People were able to communicate pretty much in real-time about things that were happening. The good & the bad, the wonderful & the terrible, all of it.

People learned, they took action, they helped each other.

It's also not just "oh they took a silly app away, boo hoo" - it was a way that so many small artists & businesses were able to function & find success.

People were able to pay bills & survive. So many people were able to create so many wonderful things because of it.

Yes, I've still found & connected with good people through there. I love all of the artists, cosplayers, & everyone that I've followed so much.

I'm hoping to find them all on other platforms. But i know for some small artists & businesses that jumping ship now isn't really an option.

If i could afford to have a 2nd phone number that's completely not associated with any of my important things, I'd 1000% be chilling on RedNote.

I've been on Facebook & Instagram for so long. I stopped really using FB years ago, & for the past few years Insta has felt so hostile.
