The Flax is Aotearoa is starting to come out … well in the northern regions it is. Tui absoulutely love its nectar. I love the colours especially when the sun hits at just the right angle🙂

We got up close and personal with a Shining Cuckoo | Pīpīwharauroa today at Western Springs. It was busy belting out its tune to those that would listen to it #birds 🦉🪶 🇳🇿

This lively little Fantail | Piwakawaka, was trying to play hide and seek with us within the tangle of willow branches at Western Springs the other morning

At first glance I thought oh some chicks trying to stay warm while using a long drop… then I had a closer look and thought yeah it’s AI being weird there foxy

Yup I read it as that. There is quite a lot of cross over between the two conditions. Hyperactivity can look like a high energy episode and adhd depression can look like a depressed bipolar episode too😊

👍 yup for me: lack of dopamine/serotonin means I battled depression for 32 years. Put me on meds for ADHD and I started to come right. My difficulty with rumination reduced in the following months with medication and talk therapy. Antidepressants did not help at all. Tried a lot of different ones
