We could stretch that moment in game to a later period though (currently it happens in Day 2 or 3)

Yeah, exactly. We say don't fall for sunk cost fallacy, but it's very hard to drop a project, even if you know that there is no way, you'll be able to finish it.
And then having to defend your choice on top of that just adds to the pressure.
Today, I had to defend myself on why I have unreleased games, and I'm promoting another one. The question itself is valid for sure, but the nature of our work is so that not every project is equal, and not every project works.
I don't want to delist my other projects, as I'll make them. But in time

Today we worked on one of the doctor's tools in-game - the Stethoscope. Now enhanced with eerie visuals of organs, adding a creepy atmosphere while you listen to sounds and uncover eerie details.
