Week 9 - Dev Log 09
During the past week, I added more animation to the epic door project.
Week 8 - Dev Log 08
Add emissive effect to the door, blocking of the scene is coming soon.
Update model and texture - 90% finished with creating a simple branch rig, about to export to unreal soon.

A simple sketch of the secret forest door design and how I will animate it. The process of modeling will be updated soon.
Week 5 - Dev Log 05
Here are some ideas for the epic door project. I would like to create a secret door that located in a fantasy forest. I will upload more progress later this week.
Week 4 - Dev Log 04
I would like to set the scene by the pier and depict the daily life of fishermen. Below are my work in progress and some inspirations. My goal was to capture a cozy and chill vibe. The interactive elements may include the fish on the boat, the fishing rods, etc.

Week 3 - Dev Log 03
During the past weekend, I did several changes:
- replaced all the textures for terrain
- added background music and ambient sound effects
- adjust with the lighting and post processing
- added particles for lantern flame and snow
add one more video to show the person walking through the scene:)
Week 2 - Dev Log 02
During the past weekend, I did following things:
- grab some assets from fab store and added to the scene
- created a river along the valley
- swap the terrain with new material
Week 1 - Dev Log 01
I decide to create an abandoned prision castle in a medieval style setting, inspired by some games I've played before such as Dark Souls and Darkest Dungeon. This week, I mainly focused on blocking out the scene, establising the scale and distance between structures.
